Mission: The AASF was founded in 1985 with the mission to "teach people how to become stewards of their watersheds." Streamkeeper Academy events are conducted throughout the Pacific NW,education materials are distributed nationally and internationally, and local groups are provided "hands-on" stream and wetland restoration assistance. Now, AASF is developing the NW Stream Center which has stream and wetland ecology & fish and wildlife Habitat Restoration as its central themes. Our goal is to stimulate everyone to become a "Streamkeeper."
