Adams State University (formerly College) was my alma mater. 98.5% of the money donated to this foundation goes directly to the University to fund scholarships and improve the physical campus. I personally know who sits on the Foundation board, and they look at each of the scholarship applications, distributing the funds to specifically to students that are in financial need that have shown a sincere effort to continue their pursuit of a college education as the most important factor, not just grades their parents, or how much money their family contributed to the school. The overall campus has grown and has state-of-the-art technology integrated to not only provide a more efficient method of learning but also to save energy expense. I would serious consider support this organization with a donation, knowing that it is furthering the future of students in pursuit of a career that will enhance their families' outlook and opportunities to pursue the American Dream.
