Mission: Building community through sport. At Active Inland Empire we aim to be able to foster a "third place" with local business partners, city governments, and supporting community led efforts to make a safer Southern California region.
Results: > Helped improve cyclist safety with the city of Rancho Cucamonga > Helped mitigate pedestrian incidents with vehicles for various run clubs within the cities of Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario with the use of a portable sound system. > Running a fundraising program to help an eagle scout candidate reach their project goal.

Direct beneficiaries per year: improving street light infrastructure and timing to make it safer for all road users in Rancho Cucamonga.
Geographic areas served: San Bernardino County
Programs: supporting local run clubs, running young adult programs where participants can try their hand at activities that may be cost prohibitive, and creating inviting community spaces to get people out of the house.
