Mission: Action Inc.'s mission is to create opportunities that promote a thriving Cape Ann for all.
Results: In 2018, through our client and housing services programming 223 adults accessed shelter and services through our Emergency Shelter, 79 individuals received housing and supportive services through our Supportive Housing programs, and more than 500 local residents received help from our Advocacy program. Through our Education and Training center, we helped 75 individuals work towards completing their High School Equivalency, and more than 91% of Nurse Aide students successfully acheieved certification. Our Energy Services team provided utilities assistance to help more than 3,100 families pay winter heating bills, improved 441 local homes with energy efficiency measures, and improved a further 13, 212 through our state-wide multifamily program. Through our community initiatives, Project Uplift provided holiday gifts and clothing for 738 children, and the Our Place Recovery Community provided more than 500 hours of supportive programming for individuals recovering from substance use disorder.
