Mission: Social education through drama for autistic children
Programs: The acting antics program uses drama as a vehicle to work on positive social interactions for students with social deficits as part of a pdd/asberger syndrome, learning disabilities, add,adhd nld and so on. Actors develop self confidence, learn to read non verbal cues, and develop positive leisure time skills.
If it were not for this acting and improv school my son, who has autism, would not be the amazing speaker and human being he is. It has created a true ctor out of a young man who wanted to be an actor many years ago. He is quite good, and it has helped his self esteem, and he is inspiring to others. He is also now a Global Messenger for the Special Olympics. All this is due to Acting Antics!
