They have the most comprehensive list of programs, scholarships, vouchers, training and is a MUST to join if you are a transitioning servicemember. This is all available at NO COST and run by volunteers who do it because they want to ensure military servicemember and their families are setup for success when they leave the military. If you're interested in training/certifications form CompTIA, Google, AWS, IBM, PMP, Splunk, Coursera then registering with ACT NOW EDUCATION is a MUST! I can't say enough great things about this organization. THANK YOU!
I just attended the weekly orientation. This program is a wealth of knowledge on how to get free and low-cost college credit, job resources, and networking. Its all-volunteer staff have great resources for veterans, veteran spouses, and veteran dependents to advance education and get help in finding work. Thanks, guys!
ACT Now definitely saved me. I was so close to being homeless and unemployed after I left the military. The team worked tirelessly and provided me with so many resources and I was able to find suitable employment and training through the resources they provided to me at no cost!

This was a very unique experience for me. Initially I was skeptical about what this was all about. I am an IT professional and seeking knowledge on career growth and advancement. This orientation enlightened me and opened my mind to the amazing opportunities that exist and how to navigate them. The guess speaker gave a wonderful talk and it was very engaging and educative. I was exposed to resources like HH USA, coursera and splunk platform, career coaching and resume improvement tips. This was an opportunity to learn new ideas and network with people in my career field and share in this domain what I know that could help others. What was more interesting is that this was a valuable resource for transitioning service members. This organization is very helpful, clear and concise in helping Vets. The orientation was 5 stars all the way, and you will find a number of vets (a community) that is willing to help each other. I was hesitant to sign up for this 2 hour webinar on a Saturday, but I’m glad I took the step to go outside of my comfort zone to attend. The first hour was a guest speaker who was a Master Life Coach and her presentation was great. The last hour consists of the hosts to present what they have to offer and how they offer this. It’s also a great opportunity to network and ask questions in an open forum. Personally, I am 15 months out from retiring and I’m starting to attend these types of opportunities to receive educational assistance and this was a great place to start. I’ve already shared this resource with my fellow Marines.
I’ve noticed a lot of activity on Facebook about Act Now, so I decided to find out more. After attending their orientation, I was thoroughly impressed. The depth of information provided was astounding, and it was clear that the veterans involved are truly dedicated. I'm a military spouse and there are ample opportunities for military spouses to take advantage of. It gives hope to spouses who have ever felt like their careers had to come to a halt. Leaving the military can still be challenging regardless of numerous training you had while in service. Having the passion for IT and having experience in medical field, it can be difficult to enter IT field. ACT Now Education have lots of resources from resumes curation to different certifications help. I am glad this opportunity is available and grateful to be a part.

I’ve attended two orientations with Actnow and have learned new things in each session. I had been given erroneous information on certain benefits for spouses and active duty/veterans, had i not attended these orientations, I would have missed out on correct information leading me to underuse these benefits. They really want to help the community and ensure that we have a chance at being successful.

Hey all, I just found out about these guys from a tech trade school I attended recently. This last Saturday I attended Act Now's orientation and I was very impressed. Apparently, they hold different guest speakers weekly to cover different topics to help us all out. I'll be attending more orientations to find out what other benefits are available to us.
Like when I attended, they had a rep from Navy Fed bank talking about housing loan options and benefits, plus Q&A.
Pretty cool, but what I found especially interesting was Act Now's program they are offering for Sec+ training. This is a great cert to have in general and I jumped at the opportunity to join this. I have been following ActNow Education since May 2023, and I must say that I am very grateful that this organization exists. The resource, services and opportunities that Jai Salters and his team provide are a godsend to members of the military community looking to upskill in preparation to transition from the service, or have already done so, and looking for ways to be competitive in their civilian endeavors. I have been exposed to resources that I would have otherwise have to otherwise pay out of pocket for. Aside from the upskilling resources, ActNow Education also provides a forum to network with like-minded people that appreciate what the military community has to go through while in, transitioning from, and after leaving military service. It’s good to know that this organization is there to support our community.

Act now provides important information to military spouses/Active duty/veterans. I’ve learned information about certain topics that I had previously been I’m misinformed of. This is my second orientation but since the information rotates, I think it’s beneficial to joint as many orientations as possible so that you don’t miss out on any opportunities. Today we learned about a security plus voucher opportunity and I’m sure that in the future there will be chances to participate in other programs.

A free resource with a wealth of knowledge and information to help out our military community. I wish this resource was available 13 years ago when my husband first joined. This is a great community dedicated to helping out service members and their spouses gain experience and education in order to land work outside of the service. A lot of these resources are also FREE! How can you beat FREE! I really love how engaging and helpful everyone is at ACT NOW and they volunteer their time too! Every Saturday they hold informational sessions and I have attended 3 even though you only need to attend one to gain access to coursera, simply because they have great speakers who want to share their knowledge. GREAT RESOURCE and should be included in the separation courses service members are required to take when outprocessing or even given to Spouses when they are in processing. Such a great program and resource!

I was able to join the Act Now group and attend orientation within a week. The process is easy and simple. Orientation contains a wealth of information with every week containing new and different presenters who are extremely experienced and knowledgable. There are posts daily with helpful insights and information made to the group as well. I have been lucky to find Act Now and take advantage of what they offer, namely the Coursera account for free. I am also pursuing another free opportunity now only because Act Now shared a post about that free opportunity. I was looking into a career change and Act Now has only sped up that process for me. I am super grateful for the Act Now team and all that they do.

Jai Salters is the reason I heard about the ACT Now Education. My name is Jesus Mendez, a Retired Army Veteran and this is one of the best understated and underserved programs out there for transitioning military personnel and veterans like myself. I wish I had known sooner about this program so that I could have started earlier in my career progression to gain the certifications and skills I needed to promote faster.
