Mission: ACCESS is dedicated to addressing the plight of homeless women and children in our community. The agency encourages the development of self-esteem and the attainment of self-sufficiency through its commitment of providing a holistic, safe and supportive environment, and through its programs of housing, advocacy and empowerment.
Target demographics: Single women and mothers with their children
Programs: During 2017, the shelter served 462 women and children, providing approximately 11,369 nights of shelter, resulting in an average stay per resident of approximately 28 days. They also provided approximately 34,107 meals and snacks to their residents.
during 2017, step ii served 18 single, homeless women, provided 2,920 bed nights for the year resulting in an average stay per resident of 261 days, and 8,760 meals and snacks. Step ii had 13 graduates in 2017.
