Our goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners.

Programs: ALCD assists low-income parents by providing childcare services free to very low-cost based on the family’s ability to pay. Children from battered homes, veterans, and homeless families are admitted into our program free of charge. We offer our services to the community so that parents can obtain meaningful careers and further their education. Our organization works with low wealth families on a daily basis, providing them with the child care needed so that the parents may work and/or further free them from dependence on government assistance. ALCD works to prepare economically disadvantaged students for successful school entry. It is our belief that education is fundamental to breaking the cycle of poverty. It is through a stimulating instruction students will overcome their histories and gain tools for success in school and beyond.
