Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Religious and humanitarian work in the markets, prisons, hospitals, and villages of benin, ghana,ivery coast, burkina fasio and nigeria.
Programs: The presence of able ministries has reduced to nine locations in three countries including ghana, nigeria and benin. Currently there are 27 missionaries. Good news centers serve as a base for individuals who carry the gospel of jesus christ to the markets, to the prisons, and to the hospitals and schools. These areas are primarily muslim. First time commitments to serving jesus in 2017 were 166,006 bringing the sixteen year total to over 5. 2 million. In the markets, more than 10,000 people are prayed with and every month. Good news centers are strategically located to be in the midst of where the people live and work. In the prisons, over 150 inmates receive one-on-one prayer along with bible study instruction and materials. The head of prisons in ghana has publicly stated that the team [from able ministries] is allowed to visit the prisons at any time. This is truly the favor of the lord. In the hospitals each month, over 1,000 people receive prayer with over 150 who rededicate their lives and another 100 counseled. Many people rededicated their lives to serving jesus as lord and received biblical counseling during the year. Needs are being met through the supplying of bibles and study material, of medical supplies, and of items for practical needs including bicycles and motorbikes. All glory, honor, and praise is given to god for all that has been accomplished. Praise the lord for what he is doing!
