Ability Connection is a one of a kind non profit where the the staff views their members not just as clients, but as family. With many organizations closing their doors permanently over the course of this past year, Ability Connection has persevered and continues to provide a safe, caring, and exciting place for each and every member! I am very excited to see how this one of a kind organization continues to grow and serve their members, families, and the community.

Ability Connection goes over and beyond for their workers as well as members who attend. Though non-profits may seem hectic and unorganized, the people who work at this non-profit provide the help and care for all who enter the building.

The thing that sets this place apart from the others is that they will serve any person, regardless of the severity of the life impact of their disability. They see the person, not the disability and focus on helping people live their best life as they define it. I am happy to send people to them for services

Ability Connection shines bright in the non-profit universe. As a professional within the field, I have witnessed the sad reality and hardship that COVID-19 has brought about. I have witnessed other organizations shut their doors and lives upended; however, Ability Connection has weathered through this unprecedented crisis, and with the upmost fervor, Ability has, continues, and will provide the essential care so desperately needed for individuals with disabilities. Ability Connection serves people with ALL types of disabilities across the spectrum and wants to further their outreach to people on the waiting list for Medicaid long-term services (most people are on this list for over 10 years). I find this organization, their mission and drive very special. Visit or volunteer at Ability Connection!

I have interacted with the leadership and members of Ability Connection through volunteer opportunities. The leadership truly cares for each and every member that is part of the organization. They are advocates for the members and every individual who is impacted by a disability. It is evident that the members of Ability Connection love the care and support they receive from the organization. This is a great non-profit!

I started volunteering with Ability Connection through an event planned by my company over 6 years ago. I fell in love with this organization immediately and volunteer at least once a month at one of the group homes in the Dallas area. The staff are so caring and the residents are so appreciative for my visits.

I just learned about Ability Connection earlier this year through a social media post. I researched this organization before making my first donation. They are good stewards of their fundraising dollars and do amazing impactful work. The staff is very dedicated and do wonderful fun activities with the members/clients in the programs. I wish I had millions of dollars to give them so they can help even more people.

I discovered Ability Connection through a friend. I was amazed by the stories of their members (clients), especially those who have no family. The work they are doing for people with disabilities is impressive. You can tell they truly care for all of the members life family. I am proud to support their important work as a donor.

Ability is a caring and responsive organization, both at the direct-care level and management level. Our son has been in one of Ability's group homes for over 10 years now, and we are very happy with the excellent care he receives. The group home staff are compassionate and really just outstanding. Recently he has also started attending Ability's day program and we have been so impressed with the activities provided and especially with the teachers. He just loves going there! We would have absolutely no hesitation about recommending Ability Connection to anyone with special needs.

My son, a young adult with autism, was welcomed into the Ability Connection "family" this summer. He worked part-time and even earned his first paycheck! He loved being with Ability Connection. The work gave him confidence in himself and his abilities. As a parent, I really appreciated having a safe haven for him to grow, learn new skills and meet new people. What a terrific place!
