Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: To provide a christ centered recovery program. We also provide after care relief and assistance services to former prison inmates who are economically disadvantaged, underprivileged or distressed. We provide the same services to persons recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction who are economically disadvantaged, underprivileged or distressed. We provide resources and assistance to individuals whose family members are, or have been, incarcerated. We provide affordable, safe, drug and alcohol free housing to former prison inmates and recovering persons of abba. We provide community and domestic resources to individuals by engaging and connecting these individuals with partners, churches, ministry partners, mentors and sponsors, who can provide the appropriate assistance for these individuals.
Programs: Abba homes & ministries has 22 spaces available for those who are willing to lead a sober and productive life. These residents are required to attend and participate in our celebrate recovery program and our intense step study program. Shea powell recently graduated our program. She now has full custody of her daughter, her own apartment, and a full time job. Shea is just one example of the goal that abba homes & ministries is dedicated to accomplishing. Eric sanmarco is a current resident that is making incredible strides in rebuilding his life. He came to us from a rehabilitation center. He is now leading others into a sober life and contributing to our community in a variety of ways. Celebrate recovery is bringing 40 men per week to our recovery meeting from the tulsa transitional center. The tulsa transitional center is contracted by the oklahoma department of corrections to house and assist men in integrating back into society. Abba is one of the teams that is intregal in this process of reacclimating these men into the community.
