Mission: The Abandoned Children''s Foundations primary purpose is to help provide for children who have been abandoned and living in harsh conditions. We assist with housing, food, & education. We believe every child should have a fighting chance toward their future.
Programs:
Our Kenyan orphanage is located in central Kenya in a slum called Kiganjo. We currently house twenty-five children that range in age from three to fourteen years old. These children are provided with the necessities they need to face life’s challenges. They all attend school at their local primary school. Most of them are excelling well. Unfortunately some of them are having problems so we make sure they get extra attention. The children are provided with three meals a day & have two live in house mothers to help with all of their needs.
My three week adventure in Kenya was incredible start to end! The people are so friendly and I can honestly say that the experience has been life changing !
I would recommend this programme to anyone. Nurses are also required in the clinic only a walk away from the orphanage and school :D
