I have adopted five dogs from this rescue in three years. I was really surprised when I learned that even the sick dogs retiring from the mill received state of the art medical attention. Eye surgery, repaired broken bones and pelvis, amputations, even hydrocephalus. Nothing goes untreated if there is a spark of hope for the dog. I just put to rest our precious Moses who lived 16 years working in the mill and had three wonderful years on freedom. This rescue is worthy of support. It is awesome and works miracles with the resources they have.

We adopted our dog from this organization. I was extremely impressed with the care my dog was given prior to his adoption. He came to us fully vetted, neutered, with meds, food, toys, healthy treats, etc. We were thoroughly investigated to make sure we were a good fit for the dog. I have been incredibly impressed with this group of dedicated volunteers.

This rescue is the Mercedes of rescue. Their standards for veterinary care, foster care and adoption are above and beyond most rescues. They will not place a dog into a home just to place it. They find the perfect home for the dog. They do home visits on perspective adopters and provide the best veterinary care that money can buy. Nothng is overlooked for the dogs they rescue from the puppy mills.
