Mission: A Positive Trajectory Foundation (APTF) is non-profit 501(c)3 who uses competitive sports to give young female athletes empowering lifts regardless of socioeconomic status. Studies reveal that the lack of self-esteem can have negative effects on a young person’s life. This organization helps young athletes achieve their full potential through competitive sports and education. Males are not alienated from this non-profit, however most of the focus is on females and gender equality. We believe when placed in a structured environment, children can learn resilience, assertiveness and techniques which lead to good decision making. As well, athletes are positioned on a path that leads college to recruitment while placed in an environment that cultivates success through teaching values, individual and team concepts that will enhance their lives while being molded into strong future leaders of America.
