Causes: Arts & Culture, Theater
Mission: To produce world-class performances of the great works of drama with a resident company; to educate and inspire the public through programs that foster an appreciation of history's great plays and playwrights and to train the next generation of classical theater artists.
Programs: Theatre operations - presented 7 full length classical plays before an audience of over 38,000 persons including 14,000 students. The students represented over 130 schools from 20 school districts throughout the southern california area who visited the theatre at special student ticket prices. Special student matinees performances included post performance discussion with actors and directors. The organization provides scholarships to schools in need.
