Mission: Our mission is to give children in less fortunate countries unlimited opportunities to improve their reading, writing, and computer skills through technology education, and by linking children there with children in schools here in the United States.
Results: In 2012, A New Dimension of Hope received two acres of land from Troyah Town and started building a school for the children. Troyah town is one of the most in need villages in Liberia. 90% of the children don’t attend school due to tuition costs and transportation. The school will host all of the children of Troyah in addition to the children of neighboring villages. ND Hope is expecting about 350 students to attend the new school. The schools completion goal is set for July 2014 and is expected to open its doors August 11, 2014.
Target demographics: children in one of the most poverty-stricken communities around the world
Direct beneficiaries per year: 300 local Liberans (Toyah Town villages)
Geographic areas served: globally
Programs: pen pal program, library program, and school programs.
