A Lion's Heart

A hard working nonprofit dedicated to the animals. They have taken on what many considered an impossible mission and have kept almost 300 animals alive against all odds and obstacles in Taiz zoo. I am proud to be a supporter of this nonprofit and will continue to do so.

I think this is a Great cause and I have a great experience.

A Lion’s Heart is the only accredited organization that has stood with the animals at Taiz Zoo. They are the ones who have supplied the food, water and medications out of donations. They have kept these animals alive.

A Lion's Heart is a nonprofit helping animals that I have such great respect for. They have integrity, compassion, dedication and selflessness when it comes to their tireless efforts to care for some animals trapped at Taiz Zoo in Yemen. These poor animals are stuck in a war zone, they were starving to death. But ALH and the dedicated caregivers and veterinarian in Taiz give these animals food, medical care and clean enclosures. Unfortunately nobody is able at present to get the animals to sanctuary. But until that day comes ALH is a lifesaver. I donate monthly.

A Lions Heart is an amazing charity and doing a fantastic job working to help the animals at Taiz Zoo. I’ve been donating for a while now and will continue to do so. They are a compassionate charity and have picked up the reins for this worthy cause when no other animal charity would get involved. They are working really hard to see the animals get the care they need in what are incredibly difficult circumstances and deserve all our support for their very positive and persistent approach. Since ALH’s inception, the supporters/followers have been made aware of the conditions, progress & everyday happenings with all the animals. I have been donating to this wonderful charity approaching 2 years. They are the only charity supporting Taiz Zoo in Yemen. Without this charity and its regular doners the animals would not be alive. The president of the charity provides regular photos of the animals and updates every few days. The communication from all charity members is excellent. When a question or comment is posted a quick response is received.

It's so difficult for me to put into words the appreciation I have for A Lion's Heart. They have been the driving force in keeping around 300 animals alive at Taiz Zoo in war-torn Yemen. The animals were left to die as the turmoil between humans took precedence. After the first charity to step in and take care of the animals encountered issues and had to pull out, A Lion's Heart did not hesitate to step in. They have been allocating all donations to keeping these animals going, where many may have left them to perish. Since these animals cannot be moved out of the country due to government issues and the war, they must continue to live and survive in Yemen. A Lion's Heart has been buying food, medicine, and keeping staff on board to continue to care for these animals. I have been donating to them for more than a year now, and I never question where my money is going. A Lion's Heart provides weekly (at the least) updates of where our money is being spent. We get pictures of the residents of the zoo as they are being fed, receiving medical care, and more. A true charity, A Lion's Heart has provided a much needed effort to not only keep these animals alive in what most would see as a hopeless situation, but they also are dedicated to conserving some of the last Arabian Leopards alive on this planet. They refuse to give up, and don't have a load of management fees that the money runs to. The money goes directly to the animals, which makes them a Great Non Profit in my book.

I am a core member of the small reg charity. A LIONS HEART....I FEEL honoured and proud to be so. Despite our small team, we answer every question immediately, we thank our doners immediately, so they know how much they are appreciated..........our President will not go to bed, until all is as well as can be, in a war zone. Yemen is a tough, hard road, but, we fight on, every day , as we will not Let these precious souls down. I feel enormous respect and gratitude for my role in A LIONS HEART.

A Lions Heart our a very hardworking charity working under difficult circumstances, trying to help a badly ravaged, war torn, Taiz Zoo in the Yemen feed and care for its almost 300 animals. This charity is run by a very small core group of members, overseen by the President Amy Adams. With it's agents and zoo staff in the Yemen putting themselves in harms way everyday to care for these helpless animals. Every bit of help from any place is so welcome. The more people who follow this cause the better for the animals. An outstanding Non-profit charity.

Have been with this Non-Profit since its inception. Cannot praise the Charity sufficiently which includes its President Amy Adams and naturally the focus and aims of this Non-Profit. A Lion's Heart has been involved in a very difficult rescue of animals in Yemen which has been time-consuming and a very daunting task. Amy Adams and the entire team have never given up despite the odds and the immense difficulties that surround this project. I would highly recommend this Non-Profit and I, for my part, am honoured to be part of such a small and dedicated team.

A Lions Heart is an Awesome Charity or rather People full of compassion and love for Animals and life I would not think twice to assist these folks however I can. The World needs more like you to give is Hope

I discovered A Lion's Heart through Katherine Pedinelli. She asked me to write a poem about the animals of Taiz Zoo. I knew to do this poem, I required more information and so I discovered the website of A Lion's Heart. Well, I was shattered to see the state of these beautiful animals. Ever since, I have been in contact with Katherine Pedinelli and Amy Adams. I cannot express enough what an amazing, caring and kind organisation this is. Against all odds from political to lack of funds (to care for the animals) A Lion's Heart is pouring their hearts and souls into providing care and raising money and awareness for these poor unfortunate animals. The situation is desperate and a constant flow of funds is needed to save these animals. A Lion's Heart deserves every bit of praise and dedication anyone is prepared to give. Open your hearts and purses to this organisation and they will do amazing things for the animals. I applaud everyone involved in this organisation.

There are hundreds of animals trapped in a civil war in Yemen in a sad, desperate zoo. They were literally starving to death and were abandoned before A Lions Heart took up their cause and raised funds and awareness to help these precious creatures. They would be dead without A Lions Heart and its donors. I have donated several times and adopted 4 zoo animals for my nieces and nephews. We must continue to support this essential charity to keep these animals alive so they may be evacuated once the ground situation is safer!!

I make donations as often as I can to this awesome accredited Non-Profit 501c Charity working under extreme conditions that many other larger charities have ignored because of the major conflict the country, and therefore the most innocent of victims, the captive zoo animals, have no choice but to be a part of.

IF not for A Lion's Heart Charity these animals would have perished many months ago due to lack of the basics, the essential food and water their volunteers on the ground there provide in this war torn country . I would encourage everyone to open their hearts to these captive zoo animals and not turn a blind eye to the most innocent of man's victims. Please support and donate to this most worthy of charities today if you are at all able to do so, every dollar helps an animal in dire need.

ALHS is an exceptional charity run by extraordinary people to save animals that cannot help or save themselves. This non-profit charity has battled with true warrior spirit against nearly insurmountable odds, all for the sake of the innocents that can neither know the charity's effort nor thank them. ALH is a selfless, transparent agency that could easily set the example for how to 'do' non-profit. I am proud to support their efforts and will continue fighting with them for the freedom of the Taiz zoo and other trapped, helpless animals.

I have been supporting the Taiz Zoo Releif mission since its very inception in February 2016. A Lion's Heart stepped up to the task of caring for these animals under extremely trying circumstances. The obstacles that have challenged them would seem insurmountable to most, yet they persevere against all odds. The dedication, passion and integrity of this Non Profit Organization/Charity is to be commended! Trustworthy, honesty and conscientious are the best qualities in a charity such as this and A Lion's Heart meets and exceeds all of those requirements. I am very proud to be called a supporter and donor to A Lion's Heart!
