Personally I’ve had the privilege to experience Day Without Hate rally’s in a few schools across Colorado. This has been one of the most transformative and amazing events in a school I’ve ever been a part of. The supporters and people behind the movement do this because they actually care and want to spread the word of peace and love. I also love how the movement started grassroots style, and caught on so quickly! No amount of money could ever organically reproduce the energy of what Day Without Hate brings to the world! The message is simple, promote love and stop hate, and the organization gives leadership and tools for doing exactly that!

WOW! This nonprofit and film - 5 STARS! Y’all, it’s something special how this film is used for advocacy—it not about all the fancy awards, like the Emmy they won. No, it's all about saving our kiddos, empowering students and teachers, and spreading a little peace in this world. I gotta tell ya, meeting one of the directors of this amazing nonprofit's film at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, FL was a real treat! You could just feel the director's caring spirit radiating from her! I sure wish Day Without Hate been around when I was in school. They’re doing some truly wonderful work, and I’m all in for supporting this mission!

A student-led movement doing something impactful. All schools would be better off if their students took the initiatives like these students and teachers do. And I hope if you are reading this, you watch the film and visit the website and bring this program which is FREE to your school. A Day Without Hate - it's simple and profound.

I learned about Day Without Hate at the Cary Film Festival, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Their commitment to students is both inspiring and impactful. The stories shared through their films brought a powerful awareness and it was clear in the film that their work resonates with teachers, students, counselors and students. If you're looking for a nonprofit that truly embodies the spirit of community and change, is a shining example deserving of all 5 stars!

The Day Without Hate program is by far one of the most influential programs in my life and the same for many other students. The program allows for schools to create safer and more inclusive environments that benefit all students.

This idea for our movement and organization began in a class room with myself, 11 friends, and our English teacher. We started with 1 day in our school to bring unity, community, and Kindness to make sure our school felt safe after the news of the Virgina Tech Shooting in 2007. I’ve been working to expand our mission across the country and globe since that day. We are excited to see what kind of impact we can make in the this generation to bring Peace, Unity, and Respect into our schools and communities.

As if the DWOH Mission and Purpose wasn’t loud enough… the individuals putting their hearts and souls into a mission much bigger than themselves are OUTSTANDING Humans. After episodes of extremist violence like this weekend, the purpose and mission of DWOH is as loud as it gets! Can’t wait to see DWOH in every school system and organization!

This is fantastic! As a parent with one high school student and one in middle school, we need all the education and awareness possible to provide a safe environment for our children.

I would love to see this cause grow and influence more young people. Our society is filled with more hateful language than ever. We need more of these voices at every age learning to communicate with compassion and understanding!

The cause is close to my heart having two children in highschool in Denver. In 1985 I was a witness to a non lethal school shooting. It originated from an isolated youth. The mission affects change where there is a possibility to save lives by affecting the heart of humans. Giving children at least one day to reach out and spread love. THiS has and will work.

There are so many times I think back to Columbine, 1999 and wonder: what would have happened if those two boys had felt seen, heard and had someone at school to tell them they mattered? Even if they had just one awesome day at school, where they didn’t feel alone and ostracized? Would they have felt just enough hope to change their plans?

This non profit is the only thing I’ve come across as a real preventative movement to school shootings. We’re stuck in this reactive state with shootings; when what we need is this program to get right into the hearts of kids. They need to be able to connect with their peers, a pressure free, loving day, to build each other up. A Day Without Hate is the real opposite of a school shooting, it’s life GIVING.

I cannot wait to watch the difference this non profit makes on the world.

Get ready to be inspired by the resilience and courage of the students. As a director and producer for the Day Without Hate film, you will find that it is a testament to the power of storytelling and the importance of raising awareness about this critical issue. What struck me most during my time with them was the sense of community built with students, parents, and teachers. This is a movement that is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about each student's well-being. If you're looking for a way to make a positive impact on your community, I highly recommend getting involved with Day Without Hate

Since the very moment I heard about this incredible program I knew it was an incredible and much needed message to bring to the youth of our world. As a Mom of two teens in High School, it means more now than ever to teach kids love, kindness and empathy and Day Without Hate does exactly that. Solving the violence epidemic one heart at a time…this organization deserves a standing ovation.
