Wonderful group of people who love to sing and make a difference. This is a dedicated group of singers under the tutelage of Christine Allison who is following a dream and has made it a reality. We are an group of volunteer singers who perform year round for causes in our community who could use an extra monetary or moral support. We have made a difference in many lives through our singing and fundraising. It has personally made a difference in my life, reintroduced me to more musi, formed deeper friendships and I feel that in a very small way contributed to some worthy causes in our community.

A Chorus for a Cause brings joy to the singers, the listeners that attend our concerts and to the non profits who receive money from the concerts if they are the selected beneficiary. My wife and I have sung with this group since its inception. It is the joy of our week to sing beautiful music, make friends and help others singing. Thanks to our very talented director, Christine Allison and our great accompanist, Mark Thewes, we are making great music.

I love how we benefit others with our choir. It is so awesome knowing the lives of others are touched by our concerts. Also, I have met some of my favorite people in this choir. I am proud to sing with A Chorus For A Cause.

I love performing especially with orchestra or chorus and singing with A Chorus For a Cause is a double pleasure. The chorus not only is fun to sing with but our singing fun turns into financial support for worthy local causes. What more could you want!

I have sung with A Chorus for a Cause for over 5 years. The mission to be something making a difference was what drew me to them. We are a big family with the same goals, making the world a better place one concert at a time. We laugh together, cry together, pray together. If you are looking for a great group think of us.

Never have I ever sung with or enjoyed a chorus more then A Chorus for a Cause! We laugh, we cry, we help. It's what we do and what we are about. Singers making a difference, one note at a time.

The concerts are wonderful entertainment and greater because they raise money that is donated to various programs in our area. We love that we are supporting our community and enjoying beautiful and entertaining choral music.

A Chorus for a Cause is a group of about 80 singers who sing for other non-profits. Their concerts are well done and always connected to their cause. The last 4 years they have been voted “Favorite Performance Group” in About Magazine of Stark County. They have been in existence for almost 10 years and they also have Harmony Ringers under their umbrella. They, too, are excellent and fun to watch. All connected with both groups are committed to their mission.

In the 9+ years we've been singing, we have already raised over $82,000 for causes, along with gathering scarves, gloves, toys, and even singing as entertainment for cause benefits. I believe the greatest gift we've given has been within to each other, creating a "family" of singers. I've seen people staying with sick members, bringing food after surgeries, helping with moving garage sales, mourning together at funerals, rejoicing in new jobs, marriages, and retirements. In addition, we are blessed to sing for good causes and appreciative audiences. I am a proud singer, board member, head of ushers, and former marketing director. We ARE family, singing to make a difference...looking forward to September 2019 and our 10th anniversary. ❤

This group of people, who all love to sing, do so much for other non-profits. We sing because we love to sing, but then our concerts benefit others. A non- profit applies, is vetted by the chorus board, and then is chosen to be the beneficiary of money raised from two concerts. Since September 2009 we have given over $75,000 to beneficiaries. The chorus brings compelling music to our community while supporting causes. My husband and I both sing in this life changing group of about 80 singers. The director, Christine Allison is great at teaching, motivating, and giving us positive vibes. We look forward to every Sunday rehearsal.

I joined A Chorus for a Cause 3 years ago. I was looking for some way to give to the community, but I didn't have a lot of extra cash. A friend knew that I loved to sing and suggested that I join this group. I am so proud to be a part of a group that has now worked toward and donated over $75,000 to our local community! We have helped Meals on Wheels, a local Veterans support group, Challenger Baseball, Pegasus Farms and many more. . could have never touched so many lives all by myself. And the funny thing is....that I have met so many wonderful people that I look forward to every practice and concert!

What’s not to love about a group of joy-filled singers who raise funds for charities simply by doing what they love? AND they have been voted Best Performance Group in their local About Magazine four years in a row! 10-year anniversary party coming soon..

A Chorus for a Cause has become a family of good people who love to sing and join together to make our community a better place for all of us. Joining this chorus when it started in the fall of 2009 has been one of the best things I have done in retirement. What a pleasure it has been to learn about so many wonderful nonprofits in our area and to be able to give away to them over $81,000 since we started in 2009! To be able to do that through singing fun, thoughtful, inspiring and touching music has been a real high. A Chorus for a Cause has changed person's lives for the better in many ways. We are blessed to have this chorus in our community!

What is this chorus? People who love to sing. People who want to help others. People who are open to making new friends. People with varying musical abilities who together make beautiful music.
As we sing together we laugh, we cry, we learn vocal techniques. We blend our voices to send positive energy into our hurting world. We become one voice singing to make a difference!

A Chorus for a Cause has enriched my life in so many ways. I've never been a part of a group of people that are so in tune with every aspect of what the organization is about; which, in this case, is utilizing our passion (music) to make a difference in the world. Each cause has been one-hundred-and-ten percent worthy. The music is nothing less than compelling and beautiful at each concert (although, admittedly, some songs take some 'warming up to' in early rehearsals while we iron out the kinks!) I believe the group surpassed $50,000 donated with our last concert, and that is completely remarkable to me, considering the age of the group.

I am so blessed to rehearse and perform with a group of people that share the virtues I value most - altruism, generosity, and kindness.

I love being a volunteer in this group, and I will continue to volunteer for the forseeable future. Our weekly rehearsals are something I look forward to.

I joined ACFAC in 2010 after attending two of their concerts. I had sung in my high school, college, seminary and church choruses but have never enjoyed choral singing as much as I do with ACFAC. We rehearse one day a week 44-46 weeks a year. 65-75 chorus members then do two concerts a year to benefit a "non-profit cause" in our community. Since the fall of 2009, we have raised $47,000 for these "causes." I experience what we say we are about: singers making a difference! I began serving on the Board this year as Vice President and look forward to continuing serving ACFAC as a singer, volunteer and Board member.

My husband and I are privileged to sing with this group. It is a great group of over 80 people, all ages, who love to sing. They use their singing talent to sing concerts that raise money for non-profits. The Chorus was named the #1 performing group in Stark County on Ohio. The music we sing has great variety and the director is tops at getting a marvelous sound from us. We love A Chorus for. a Cause.
