They have sex offenders on the property. And woman and children frequent the property. The operation manager is OK with it. Be mindful of what you do. I can't believe this is OK in a Christian organization. The residents go 90 hours a week only to make the owner richer

My brother joined the ABW Discipleship program in July of 2011. He had lost himself in drugs, was estranged from his family, and living out of his car in Los Angeles. In February of 2013, my brother emerged from the ABW program a changed man.

A Better Way is not some type of run-of-the-mill rehab facility, its an 18 month program, with an emphasis on Christ-centered living. ABW didn't just try to get my brother off drugs, they labored to see his life, identity, and family restored. This program is the real deal, and the leadership is right "in the thick of it" with all of these men (my brother included).

The ministry works hard to sustain itself financially, and is very well known in the community. If you have a relative or close friend that is struggling with drugs or alcohol, encourage them to call A Better Way.

A Better Way helps men who struggle with life controlling issues, mainly substance abuse. It is an 18 month. in-house. discipleship program. They use the Teen Challenge curriculum and operate under the Teen Challenge standards. I have volunteered there numerous times over the years. A great ministry with a great staff. If you know anyone who needs help with addiction I highly recommend A Better Way.

I have had the opportunity to serve here on many occasions. The heart and core of this ministry is as genuine as you will find anywhere. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a way to sow their time, talent, or touch to come over to A Better Way and lend a hand in one of the many cottage industries. You will surely be blessed by what you find.
