Beacon of Hope is a very unique non profit organization. Although other non profits that do this type work are effective also in saving lives, Beacon of Hope is medically approved, making it extremely credible and, therefore attracts those who need to be confident that their care is the best medically.
I have attended events sponsored by Beacon of Hope and researched their organization. In addition to their staff, who are well qualified, their method of dealing with clients and their significant others is extremely non judgemental, caring and informative. They provide unconditional assistance with accurate information, up to date equipment, with a "no pressure" approach.
I learned of this non-profit when my daughter became employed there. Their devotion to presenting a loving, caring, non-judgmental environment to their clients is indeed unique in today's society. Being the hands and feet of Christ to "love on" those who may have never had that in their lives nurtures their faith that things can be better. Who doesn't need that in their lives? Helping clients see their options , being given support in baby care afterwards is producing good decisions and saving lives. We need more "Beacons of Hope".
Beacon people always do the right thing. Decisions are always patient focused and prayerfully made. The facilities are pristine and funds are well spent.
I became involved with A Beacon of Hope over 20 years ago. I have been an enthusiast supporter and volunteer with this group. They are stellar and above board with everything they do. The critical services and emotional support they offer to the community helps everyone associated with unplanned pregnancies. I’ve witnessed young moms-to-be, their partners, and their extended family be blessed by the time and resources they receive, free of charge, at A Beacon of Hope. If I zeroed in on one aspect of their ministry that stands out to me, I would have to say it’s the “time” they give these women to think through critical, life altering decisions. The relaxed atmosphere, the up-to-date information, and the care they extend to each client creates an environment that helps breathe fresh air into a breathless, chaotic situation. They are a top shelf organization worthy of Your support.
A Beacon of Hope has helped so many young girls, women, and families. I'm thankful to know this incredible organization! I was first introduced to unplanned pregnancy during my teenage years through my sister, it was a time of great confusion for me, as a younger sister, for her, a young girl heading off to college, and my parents. It would have been SO helpful for our family to have known a compassionate organization like A Beacon of Hope.
Unplanned pregnancy and poor relationship choices can lead to so many devastating decisions and feelings. The women who work at A Beacon of Hope have an incredible heart for every patient that walks into one of the clinics. Their care for each patient, in a non manipulative manner is ideal! They answer questions, and provide one on one time with a nurse to ensure the patient is educated prior to making a decision.
A Beacon of Hope courageously speaks the truth, in a loving way, with no strings attached. Regardless of the choice the patient makes, she is informed and cared for in a loving manner. It's a safe place for those struggling to know what to do when the pregnancy test is positive, and an unplanned pregnancy is now a reality. I would strongly suggest supporting A Beacon of Hope.

Our community is so blessed to have an amazingly compassionate and non-judgmental team of people at A Beacon of Hope who lead women and families through the very stressful experience of an unplanned pregnancy. Beyond just a counseling center, the Beacon team comes alongside these mothers and fathers to be and guides them through what to expect at childbirth and through infancy and equips them to be prepared and responsible parents to thriving babies. After supporting this organization for many years, the numerous stories of abortion-minded patients who elected to carry their babies to term and were forever grateful and positively changed never cease to touch our hearts. The Beacon team leads with love and genuinely cares for the lives and spirits of their patients and their future families...

This clinics ratings are biased as most people on here work there at some point in their life.
I'm an ACTUAL client and made an appointment on Thursday June 18 2015. I called the day prior day from the a dress I pulled of the internet. When I got to the clinic I was advised that there was no appointment for me in their system. And I told the woman I had pregnancy test with me even the digital showed pregnant on the window. They said I could come back in for the test on Monday and after the results were as their nurses like then they will reschedule my ultrasound when the nurse sees my levels high enough to see a clear baby.
You go to these facilities expecting for comfort and support and you have 2 ladies who are incompetent. Look for your lighthouse somewhere else because you won't find no beacon of hope here.
I work with similiar ministries all over GA and this is one of the best-run pregnancy centers in GA. They strive for excellence in all they do for the Lord.

Our Beacon of Hope journey began when our unmarried College Freshman tearfully called from across the country to share the life-changing news that she was pregnant with her first child. Twenty-tender-years-old and PREGNANT. First time to live away from home and PREGNANT. Our unmarried daughter was PREGNANT and her life path was permanently altered… We were all shocked and afraid.
There was no way getting away from that haunting word and its implications, she was pregnant and at 42 and 43, we were about to become Grandparents. What does one do and other than us, where would our daughter turn for help? A Beacon of Hope.
How thankful we were that she found solace, acceptance and genuine caring through these gifted people with a program to match. She was terrified but the angels at A Beacon of Hope were fearless! Throughout the next year our daughter went through a comprehensive life-saving experience resulting in a confident young mother and the joy of a Granddaughter.
A Beacon of Hope delivered upon their promise to stand beside our daughter. Throughout those 12 months she bonded with the women of Beacon, was mentored, spiritually invigorated and reminded of the love of GOD. She learned about herself, children, life-skills from finances to breast-feeding. A Beacon of Hope prepared her for the everyday experiences of motherhood and in her case, single parenting.
The bottom line is these people sincerely care. They know you’re scared and they know what to do. Eleven years of precious memories later, and yes, bumps in the road later, we know the Beacon of Hope experience was the best step our daughter took in a time of great confusion. We wouldn’t trade the hope or caring she received for anything! THANK YOU BEACON OF HOPE!

I have been so impressed with the sincere compassion and devotion of the women who work with patients at A Beacon of Hope and the College Women's Center. It must be very hard to work with so many women going through such a scary, vulnerable time in their lives but the patient advocates never seem to run out of steam, It's truly inspiring.

I was a Beacon of Hope Volunteer for more than 10 years. I witnessed over the course of those years unbelievably compassionate care as it was extended to women and men who found themselves in the challenging circumstances that sometimes come with unplanned pregnancies. The quality of care and counsel provided at the Beacon is Aplus. The extent of the services is wide ranging and ever expanding. The high number of patients that return to the Beacon of Hope months or years after receiving care there is a testimony to the commitment that workers and volunteers have to helping people over the long term. I would never hesitate to recommend people to seek care or an exceptional opportunity to volunteer at the Beacon of Hope. It was truly one of the richest seasons of my life thus far.

Jill, I am so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. Last year, 99% of our patients said they would recommend our clinics to a friend. I wish we could go back in time and provide you with better care so that you could say the same. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
