Volunteering with Pittsburgh Cares has been an awesome experience. It has enhanced my time in this city and introduced me to some fabulous like-minded people. It offers painless signup and a variety of activities. My first volunteer activity was with the Shepherd Wellness Center, serving a holiday dinner. It was a great night, people were very open and volunteers were hailed. For a young professional looking to get involved and meet new people, Pittsburgh Cares is a great place to start!
Pittsburgh Cares excels in connecting volunteers with nonprofits. Their Hands on Pittsburgh event draws in an impressive amount of volunteers each year working on various projects for area nonprofits. Pittsburgh is lucky to have such an amazing organization serving its community.
