We worked with Scott Burns on 7 Days for the Troops event at an Air Show in the Vicksburg -Tallulah area. Scott was an inspiration to watch and his commitment & dedication for helping disabled veterans was so evident! He helped raise over $16k at our event for Purple Heart Homes and local Disabled Veterans. I am proud to be associated with Scott & 7 Days for the Troops! This is a worthwhile organization to support.
I had the pleasure of meeting Scott Burns when he was in town to raise money for 7 Days for the Troops. I was able to go up in the tower he stays on to learn more about their mission. I had never seen the chairs that they donate, and I was beyond impressed! Meeting Scott and learning about 7 Days for the Troops is something I will never forget, and will support whenever I can!
I had the privilege of meeting Scott during a long flight delay recently. It was a great time hearing of the work of this organization. His dedication is amazing. My hope is that I’ll be able to attend one of his events in the future. Keep up the great work you do.
Just a great group of people doing great things for our Veterans. We had a huge turnout & will be able to help our brothers & sisters that made the sacrifices for us.
Every year I watch Scott Burns work tirelessly to raise money for disabled veterans though his organization 7 Days for the Troops. The event is such a unique one as he camps out in a tower for seven days without coming down. I love to see how the community rallies behind him and his efforts to make sure the goal is met. Even outside of the 7 Days events, Scott is on the lookout for veterans in need and strives to help them monetarily or with physical labor around their homes. The organization has served as a positive example to the community of sacrifice, fortitude, generosity, and compassion.
I am a singer/songwriter who has performed for 7 Days for the Troops events since 2017. They are a great organization to work with, truly good people.
I have known Scott Burns for a few years now. Great organization with great goals of helping veterans in need. From track chairs to handicap accessible housing needs, 7 Days for the Troops helps our veterans get what they deserve...our support.
Met Scott Burns with 7 Days for the Troops in 2017. Been watching them grow and provide for veterans in need ever since. Very impressed!
7 Days for the Troops will help anyone with anything they possibly can! And if Scott can’t do it he will find a way to make it happen anyway! So thankful for Scott and this organization helping veterans with so many different things like providing a ramp for my daughter’s father-in-law after having a stroke!
I had the privilege of meeting Scott last year at the Vicksburg-Tallulah Airport air show. I was able to spend some time with Scott in the tower and learn about the Mission of 7 Days for the Troops. As a Disabled Veteran, I am glad to see Scott help fellow Heroes. Just in our small area he raised something around 16k that will be used to assist Vets in our community. Scott and 7 Days for the Troops have my full support.
If you are looking for a cause to support, I would suggest 7 Days For the Troops. Scott Burns has worked so hard to make this event a success and his work has benefited so many DAV’s across our state. God bless you Scott for all your effort. We at Tupelo Coca Cola will continue to give our support hopefully for years to come.
"I am honored to get the opportunity to Work with Scott and 7 Days For the Troops. He is passionate about supporting our veterans and his work through 7 Days For the Troops events has continued to grow. This is a great organization led by a great man, and it is worthy of your consideration if you want to support and honor those who have stood up for us and kept America free." Andy Carter
My band and I have been participating in the 7 Days For the Troops event In Tupelo for the last 4 years. Scott is an amazing guy and his dedication to Veterans is inspiring. The work this organization does is incredible and we look forward to supporting 7 Days For the Troops, as they support Veterans, for years to come.
Scott came into my office and introduced himself and told me what he wanted to do. His passion and honest desire to help other Vets shows through every ounce of his being. I immediately said "Yes!" then we figured out how to do it! Everything he does is professional and well-planned. Scott does not just ask for money and volunteer help - he is right in there with them from building the scaffolding to tearing it down. His energy is endless and contagious. We raised $18,000 in Pearl, MS to remodel a veteran's home to make it accessible. We are working on bringing the event to Hallandale Beach, FL. Can't wait!!
I have watched Scott turn this crazy dream into reality. The work he has done to bring his passion to life has been both inspiring to see and life-changing for the veterans he has been able to help in the past years.
Scott Burns is an amazing community member and such a friend to veterans! His reach is far and wide. So grateful to know him and see the love of Christ in the work he does for others. ❤️
As a daughter of a veteran, I’m so happy to see these kind works towards helping veterans. It makes me proud to think we have such a charity willing to help those heroes in need. Thank you for helping the men and women who served our country.
I have watched Scott give of himself and raise money for the last 8 years. 7 Days for the Troops is a fun, exciting, and inspiring event that has meaning and purpose. Everyone who comes to this event is entertained by Scott and those involved, and they are excited to be a part of something bigger than themselves as they support veterans.
