Mission: The mission of nonprofit back office resources (npbor) is to educate, train and assist nonprofit organizations in new mexico to develop the accounting, technology and general business systems necessary to accomplish their charitable missions. Npbor provides centralized and affordable access to top tier cloud based software and financial, human resources and information technology expertise. In addition, npbor provides statewide formal educational and networking opportunities aimed at further developing the managerial talent of nonprofit staff in new mexico.
Programs: Nonprofit back office resources (npbor) provided accounting and human resource services to fifteen nonprofit organizations with missions that include: health care and health education in schools; assistance for people with developmental disabilities; arts and culture organizations; community entrepreneurship and collaboration; shelter for homeless women and children; and assisting people being released from incarceration to become successful citizens. Npbors accounting and financial program included providing monthly financial statements and grant reports, as well as assisting with the implementation of internal controls over cash and financial reporting. Npbor"s human resource program included providing three nonprofit organizations with an hr needs assessment. Npbors human resource program included assisting three nonprofit organizations with identifying the areas needed to be corrected and a plan of action to make the necessary corrections.
