Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services

Target demographics: Children as they enter foster care

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 1000 children entering into foster care for the first time.

Geographic areas served: Broward and West Palm Beach, Florida

Programs: SafePlace 4KIDS provides shelter and supervision for all of West Palm Beach and Broward County’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children when they are initially removed from their families. 4KIDS trained, qualified, and screened staff members and volunteers provide encouragement, guidance, and every amenity available to help the child learn to trust and laugh again. One of the only programs of its kind in the state of Florida, SafePlace 4KIDS welcomes children, newborn to 17 years of age, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 4KIDS Foster Care goal is to create 100 more families, which will provide a home for nearly 500 foster children this year. 4KIDS wants every little one who comes into foster care to be placed in a loving family – not turned away, sent to a group facility, or out of the county because there aren’t enough beds. 4KIDS His Caring Place is a licensed teen maternity program that offers love and guidance to young women struggling with crisis pregnancies. Rating: 5

I was a long-time foster parent for this organization and they truly care about not only the children in dependency, but their foster parents too. The team at 4KIDS prays about the decisions that are made and they always seem to work out.

The support that is given to foster families is stellar. In fact, this non-profit has the best reputation in Broward County for providing wonderful care for kids.

Even now that I am no longer a foster parent, I continue to support their initiatives because I know that they are legitimate and really making a positive difference in Broward County. If you don't take my word for it, then look at their positive data and statistics.
