Mission: To create an environmentally sustainable agricultural community of choice in the triangle of nc, where adults on the autism spectrum can live dignified and meaningful lives with support. Additionally, to offer individualized day camp and track-out programs to school-aged children with autism (camp bluebird, a division of 3 irish jewels farm), focusing on social skills, play skills, and life skills.
Programs: Individual-based track-out and summer farm camp programs, including "camp bluebird" (a specific program service activity conducted by the organization). The direct beneficiaries of the organization's program service activities include school-aged children with autism, allowing each child to thrive and continue to grow and develop socially, physically and intellectually. Take Flight Clubs -- social clubs for teens & adults with autism. Future: Residential farm living with job opportunities.
3 Bluebirds Farm is a community within the community. Prior to the pandemic, it gave children, teens, and families dealing with autism, a safe and welcoming environment for growth and understanding. With the many new trials that have come with the pandemic, 3Bluebirds stepped out of its already large box and provided a virtual learning center for many of its families. This may have been outside the box but perfectly aligns with so much of what this organization stands for; standing up and helping, providing needed support.
