Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: The purpose of Pick With Austin is to help educate and elevate a community awareness about the dangers of depression. We provide coping tools to those who may be at-risk in our community.
Results: One of our programs, "Alan's Gift of Music," provides 150+ donated guitars (and other musical instruments) each year to children and teens who have been identified as at-risk of depression.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 150 youth
Geographic areas served: Central Texas (Williamson and Travis County) and in the Detroit, Michigan, area
Programs: Alan's Gift of Music, which gives over 150 free guitars and musical instruments to children and teens who may be at-risk of depression.
