Jim and the 2 BHF team of family and friends have done a wonderful job of turning a family tragedy into a real social awareness effort. The 2 BHF’s mission is to raise awareness of women’s heart disease. Sometging that Gigi and Sally were not aware. My wife and I knew the “two big hearts” and we will always look to help Jim execute the mission. It is a terrific and effective effort.

Causes: Community Foundations, Philanthropy
Mission: Through exclusive research initiatives and ongoing education, 2 BigHearts works to raise awareness that heart disease is the #1 health risk to women, with the ultimate goal of changing healthcare industry policy and make the most comprehensive cardiac testing the standard for all women.
Results: We have screened, for free to all, over 1600 women in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area.
Programs: 2 big hearts foundation heightens awareness of heart disease among women by communicating the tragic story of gigi clarke and sally czechanski and by working with the healthcare community to educate individuals and families about the causes and prevention of heart disease in women.
