1Voice was my bouy when our daughter was diagnosed with leukemia in Dec18. She was 3, we were new to Tampa & all of our support system was hundreds of miles away. From the first day we went to join the Toddlers on Treatment program, then Tuesday Tutoring & the many programs in between, 1Voice was our support system. They provided a way for Laurel to make firends, learn & play in a safe environment. Then in COVID 1Voice adapted their programs to be virtual & kept our families connected duromg a time when it wasn't safe to be together. Laurel benefits greatly from the 1Voice programs. She has a tutor/mentor, she has a penpal, & she is currently taking riding lessons with a 1Voice partner, Quantum Leap Farm, and learning to play piano with the Florida Academy of Performing Arts (FOAPA).
Thank you 1Voice & especially 1Voice Director, MaryAnn for all that you do for the pediatric cancer community.
1Voice is an amazing organization. We have been part of the organization for a while now. We heard about them while my daughter was being treated at the hospital. They have so many programs for kids and families going thru that hard journey. MaryAnn and her team have great programs running during the whole year. My son started volunteering thru the 1Voice Club at his High School and now my daughter after being 3 years in remission is volunteering with them as well. We love being part of this organization and seeing all the changes that they are making. They are not just taking care of the kids and the families, but also working on medical research to fight these horrible diseases. We are so grateful for organizations like 1Voice.
I can’t say enough positive things about 1Voice. They are making such a difference in so many lives. Families touched by cancer have a safe and supportive place to belong. Volunteers are given great opportunities to contribute.
They are just wonderful!
1 Voice Foundation has been there for our family during my son’s treatment, his passing, and ever since. 1 Voice Foundation is an important part of our lives. My surviving son participates in equine therapy for his grief and anxieties from his brother’s passing thanks to sponsorship from 1 Voice
The 1Voice Foundation is an excellent resource in the Tampa Bay region. Mary Ann Massolio and her dedicated volunteers work non-stop to support children with cancer and their families. This organization offers programs that are truly one-of-a-kind!
We love 1Voice! They offer so many programs for families going through treatment, surviving or lost a child to childhood cancer. With something for everyone, you truly feel like a part of a family.
We were introduced to 1Voice Foundation after the loss of our youngest daughter to a pediatric brain tumor. Learning to live “our new normal” was a challenge and the support our family received was invaluable.
1Voice is continually evolving to meet the needs of pediatric cancer families through activities, events and support programs. That is even more noticeable now with the pandemic. They manage to keep families connected and engaged through a variety of virtual and/or socially distant programs or events. I am very grateful and am also a proud volunteer. ❤️
We’ve worked with the 1Voice Foundation for several years, as they provide a host of wonderful services to families effected by pediatric cancer. We’ve seen their positive impact & highly recommend donating or supporting their efforts in any way you can.
We absolutely LOVE 1Voice! My daughter is celebrating her 6th year in remission from Stage IV cancer, thank God. The 1Voice Foundation has offered kindness, friendship, and fun to us for several years, and they continue to show us love and compassion. They provide pediatric cancer kids and families with programs and events for support, fun, and even education, which has helped us and many others get through and just be together, happy, and OK - no matter what else we’re dealing with. We can’t say enough great things about 1Voice Foundation, its wonderful founder, Mary Ann, and the many caring volunteers that keep this amazing organization running so beautifully. Thank you so much for all you do!
Thank you So Much to 1Voice Foundation and to all of the supporters and Volunteers for being part of this cancer journey with Us. Thank You to Mary Ann Massolio for being the kindest, sincerest, funniest and most giving human who came into our lives when we needed it the most. Thank you for being the founder of 1Voice Foundation, the most amazing organization that any family is blessed to be part of. Thank You for your dedication to so many children affected by cancer but most of all, thank you for including and taking care of the ENTIRE family- whether it is a family who fought cancer, are fighting the battle now or those who have angels in heaven looking over us.
Above all, 1Voice Foundation has been the light in our lives and continues to be the best support system, with the best programs out there. No other foundation in the Tampa Bay Area offers what 1Voice does! Whether it is weekly tutoring, drive by parties, dinners, and endless gifts and events, it is so greatly appreciated. Thank you for your ONGOING physical and emotional support for my whole family.
In 2007, my son was diagnosed with cancer. It was the worst time of our lives. But the volunteers and staff at 1Voice wrapped us in love and helped us to get through this traumatic time! From meetings to family events to babysitting to classes to social events to weekend camps. Our family has found extended family in this organization. When our friends and family were saying, "It's been two years, isn't he better yet??", the people at 1Voice were still saying, "how can we help? What do you need?"
We can't express how comforting it is to have people supporting you who have been there and know what you're going through. We could never thank them enough!
A great organization with awesome volunteers and events for people going through some of the worst moments of their lives.
1VOICE is not just an organization, they are a family of amazing people that care about children with cancer. We love our 1VOICE family and everything they do for our cancer kids. They create programs, educate, help siblings, offer finacial direction and most importantly, research for a cure. We don't know what we would do without 1VOICE!
1Voice puts on programs that benefit the entire family, not just the kids. They need to continue what they can so more people know about them.
Amazing impact they have on families in the community
This nonprofit is very organized and professional throughout its interactions and care being provided
They are a great support to families and always doing activities with the kids, they are all amazing.
As a volunteer for the 1Voice Foundation, I have seen firsthand the positive impact their programming & events have on pediatric cancer families. Even during these unprecedented times, they have been innovative & creative to keep everyone engaged.
1voice is helping parents dream bigger dreams and MaryAnn Massolio is relentless in her mission with 1voice..
They are doing well in being able to give joy and assistance in a variety of ways to meet the needs of the kid and parents. No improvements needed.
1Voice provides amazing support and comfort to pediatric cancer patients and their families. During the pandemic they have provided creative online programs and fun activities for the kids.
This is an awesome organization led by an incredible executive director. So many families have been helped thru 1Voice.
Thank you! The 1 Voice Foundation offers my family an opportunity to comfort families in a medical crisis. We also benefit as a grieving family having a compassionate "family" to support us for over 15 years now.
1Voice Foundation does such an amazing job. They provide so many programs and services for their families, all with just one fabulous employee. When children come to 1Voice, they become family to us, as do their whole family.
I am not one to write reviews but I will surely take a moment to write one about 1Voice. I have personally seen the love, time, and effort that is put in by each and everyone of the volunteers and personnel of 1Voice to relieve the stress of the children, siblings, moms, and dads navigating this journey. They try to bring fun, joy and happiness to all of the families, separately and together, whenever they can.
1Voice provides exceptional advocacy and support for families impacted by pediatric cancer. They work tirelessly with incredible commitment.
The community outreach of this organization is fantastic. They absolutely have have such a positive impact on the entire families of pediatric cancer victims. As for improvement, their ability to provide all the services they offer, and strive to offer, is, in my opinion, only hampered by funding. The Director and her volunteers are some of the most enthusiastic and caring individuals I have ever met.
My son was in his final days and 1Voice granted a last wish to go fishing with the family. Two days later we were out fishing and James caught a kingfish and cobia. There is no way to repay this kindness.
My child passed away from a brain tumor on May 5th 2013. The 1Voice foundation was there with us the whole way and are still with us today. They have a motto of "once a 1Voice family, always a 1Voice family." They have a bereavement group for those of us who have lost a child as well. On my son's final days the director, Mary Ann Massolio, asked James if there was anything he didn't get to do. He said he never really got to go fishing for big fish. Two days later we were out on a prominent lawyer's yacht and James caught a kingfish and a cobia. He stated, "that was the best day ever." He passed away about 2 weeks later. There is no way I could ever repay that so I use my talent as a photographer to capture events and the children. This is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever been a part of. To see the impact this has on the families is amazing.

As a volunteer I get to see first hand the impact that 1 Voice has on the children and families. When is a need seen everything is done to fulfill the need. My life has been enriched by the the children, families, volunteers and mostly the management of this amazing organization.
