A great non profit organization that was started from a child inspiration Anton Cardinal and his father took a dream and made it to reality. They are dedicated in helping military families and have many programs such as their Vision Screening and literacy initiative that is dedicated in identifying vision problems and provide eye wear to low to middle income families and families of those who serve.

During the 2014 Memorial Day celebration at Full Sail University I helped the members of 1st Veterans' Kids Care provide information to the students who are veterans that attend the school. The students appreciated the information that was accumulated to help their families navigate the maze of organizations and benefits that they need to know about Transitional Housing, Home Buying Assistance, Conventional Housing Loan Workshops, Credit Counseling and Financial Advising. Also 1st Veterans’ Kids Care has a Vision and Literacy Initiative, Y.E.S. will provide vision screenings for children of veterans and their families who are in need of optometric services and to provide products at an affordable price. Y.E.S. will provide vision evaluations to children in our communities and will provide an initial screening for children and will make available a wide assortment of affordable products for purchase.
