Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: 1834 Sanctuary is a hands-on animal sanctuary dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for farm animals. We care for animals that have been abused, abandoned, or are victims of natural disasters. We educate the public about positive animal treatment, and the impact that a plant-based diet can have on the environment and our health.
Target demographics: We provide sanctuary through love and establishing the best lifestyle animals deserve.
Geographic areas served: It is our mission and sole focus to save animals from abuse, abandonment, and becoming victims of natural disasters.
Programs: We envision a world in which animals are treated with empathy and compassion; a world where interacting with animals can inspire people to make healthier dietary choices for the sake of animals and the environment. We strive to a lead a new and diverse generation of people towards a plant-based lifestyle.
