Mission: The mission of 1:17 center for global adoption is to defend the cause of the fatherless by facilitating the adoption of orphans. We are committed to maintaining an efficient program that keeps the cost of adoption affordable so than many loving families can adopt.
Programs: In 2013, 1:17 center for global adoption continued to fulfill its mission of facilitating international adoptions in response to the global orphan crisis. Working in partnership with its field office in the democratic republic of congo, the agency identified and matched four orphan children with waiting families in the united states. The agency also worked closely with its field staff to address changing issues in the adoption law and environment in the democratic republic of congo. In december 2013, the state of michigan conducted an iterim audit of 1:17 center for global adoption as a child placing agency and found it to be fully compliant with michigan law. The agency also began the process of hague accreditation (which was achieved in april 2014).
