Over the years I helped others trap feral cats and bring them to Fix Nation for vaccines, flea medicine, antiibotics and neutering surgery, and then return them to where we found them. Now I have the opportunity to trap a feral kitty on my own, one that I have been feeding for a few months in my front yard. Fix Nation provided instructive video tutorials, extensive instructions and great tips, PLUS a hands-on, in-person trapping class with a thoroughly knowlegeable, great teacher. The application process was a careful one but easy to do. I was put on a waiting list to obtain an approved trap that Fix Nation loaned me. Now I will embark on the adventure (and public service) of trapping a feral cat, getting him neutered and vaccinated, and returned to where I found him. All done with no charge to me. It's a great organization with caring, helpful people on their staff. Every city should have a Fix Nation to help keep community cats healthy, and control their population.

Seems like a money pit. They are nonprofit but they ask you to pay a hefty sum. Even after you pay a $150 costume fee in addition to the over $400 fee for each kid to participate, they ask that the child bring specific attire on their own. And then you have to purchase the tickets to see your kids perform. The kids were also not that excited about their experience which is not their fault but idk maybe have the kids participate more in the production aspect if performance is not their strength. They were asking the parents to volunteer their time. I wish the older ones were asked to have different duties so that they could actually learn different aspects of a community production. Don't understand how this is a non profit.

This woman Renee Lancaster who runs Rotts of Friends likes to proclaim that she is a former peace officer to garner respect. The truth is that she was fired from being a peace officer for gross misbehavior. There are rumors that the disabling condition that is spoken of in the court documents is mental illness which is seeming to make sense considering recent behavior. Her behavior in this matter, in my opinion, is completely and utterly unstable and out of control and even dangerous. <br> <br>Before adopting from them consider that if you do something to tick her off, or she even makes up in her head that you have or feels like blowing something small into some major crime.....do you really want her to have your personal information to release to the entire internet to call down the internet trolls like she just did to this guy? Yeah. People are getting threatening and talking about how he shouldn't have his other dogs. How long will it be before some nutcase shows up at his home trying to steal his dogs or take some sort of revenge. Do you want to risk that for you and yours? Is it worth it? <br> <br>Other reviewers have detailed that she agreed to long term board their dogs and then made up reasons not to return their dogs. Also in the above court document it details that on March 26 2003, while she was an officer, a woman called to her workplace and complained that she stole a purebred german shepherd. So take that all for what you think it is worth. Some of these dogs could possibly actually be stolen and "adopted out" for a profit. <br> <br>The picture document has had the information redacted for the adopters privacy. What a gift the Kids Cancer Connection organization is! They've been there through it all as our hurting family battled through our child's diagnosis. We are truly grateful for their endless support when our nine year old daughter Emma was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. ALL is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow that is the most common childhood cancer. <br><br>When we weren't sure where to turn, the Kids Cancer Connection was there for us in Seattle, WA. Whether it was a call from another parent, Judy, our Family Advocate, at just the right time or assistance with a financial reimbursement from Louis when things got difficult due to growing medical bills. <br><br>The organization’s staff is composed entirely of volunteers. They have helped so many children suffering from cancer at the Seattle Children’s Hospital, one in particular that my family knows quite well by the name of Charlotte in Renton, WA. <br><br>Kids Cancer Connection has always been an amazing source of help offering important resources and additional support. We simply love these wonderful, generous and extremely kind people. They are there when you need them the most! Thank you to our amazing friends at the Kids Cancer Connection.<br><br>

Me and my little sister were going through court issues with or parents a couple of years ago. We were so scared because our parents were in the courtroom with us. We heard about B.A.C.A from our case worker and they came and helped us. We were very thankful and we were taken out of our parents custody. Now, we are adopted and happily living far away.

I sadly had to tegome my dog, and after contacting many rescues I was always made to feel guilty for needing to rehome him. Then I happened upon Rescue Me page and reached out. Joy was absolutely the sweetest and just wanted to help. She quickly had my dogs photo posted for adoption and very soon after had found an amazing home for him ?????? my heart is missing him but also so full because I know he’s going to have a great life thanks to the efforts of Rescue Me. Thank you!!!!

If I can give it a 0 I would!!!! I kept getting charges I did not ask for! I called the number early 7am and someone picked up they say they will refund back my money I told them to take my information and card off! I should have read the reviews but my attorney recommended me this website. I will be going to my bank and have them block this nonprofit organization as I read the reviews that other people are still getting charged months later that's insane we file bankruptcy for a reason and this non profit just keep taking!!!

As someone who's had the privilege of working closely with Teens4Teens Help, I can attest to how essential this organization is for teenagers. I really wish I had these mental health resources and this kind of support system when I was a teenager! The co-founders, Jeff and Kathy, are compassionate leaders whose commitment to teen mental health is truly inspiring. It's apparent that they have a deep understanding of teenage struggles and I love that Teens4Teens Help fosters an environment where teens can openly discuss their feelings without fear of judgment. This nonprofit is more than an organization - it's a lifeline for teens navigating mental health issues. I truly believe Teens4Teens Help is making a real difference, one teen at a time.

I don't know what to say about this company but I remember I guess I like to treat everybody equal hiding even when one client has suffered more than any other client from the lack of care they provide. I prefer not to go on a detail but they've left me on the street homeless with no food for long periods of time. They refuse to get the required permission they need to provide me any resources with the money that is allocated from the state for my needs. I'm sick to my stomach but how generian unwell done and terrible horror and terror in my life due to the fact that they cannot buy me a sandwich. It's company as shake. A disgusting company with disgusting staff. And they call themselves a nonprofit. I'm looking into this further. Because of the tournament I want to investigate further and to their ethic on policy.

We absolutely love what this program teaches. Not only are kids learning to ballroom dance but they are learning to interact with each other in a healthy environment. Kids are also getting the ability to dance and express themselves. Highly suggest this program for every school.

Lovely People!!! They arrived at my house with Gifts for the Kids and Grocery Gift Cards. Our fridge was empty. We really thank these folks for this. My son asked to work with them and he has an interview this week. I cant express more how thankful we are.

I've been a volunteer all my life. I served 15 years as an active duty Army Medical Officer. I work for the American Red Cross. Having said all that, since joining this foundation in 2003, I've never seen a more transparent and authentic charity in my life. Almost all energy and resources are generated by the organizations own internal volunteers out of the goodness of their hearts. It feels like a family, not an organization. Having been recognized with the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award numerous times by the last 3 Presidents of the United States for their outstanding acts of kindness, this is the gold standard of what a true authentic volunteer organization should be. An organization where one volunteer feeds off of another and the excitement and positive energy to serve their cause and humanity keeps growing. I'm delighted and honored and proud beyond words to say I am an International WeLoveU Foundation member. You'd be hard pressed to find an organization that has done as much as this one on a global scale. Good job WeLoveU Foundation and may the years ahead be your best ones yet!

This nonprofit does phenomenal work in Yolo County by supporting edible gardens, hands-on experiential learning, and ag/nutritional education. As a West Sac parent with children in elementary school, I appreciate that our school garden has thrived, thanks to their ongoing support! We're very appreciative.

My name is Aldo Romero and I am the Program Manager for Time of Change. This program offers 13 different curriculums and works in Yolo and Sacramento County to help survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault heal from trauma and have resources to move forward. Moreover, Time of Change provides services for those who hurt others. What makes Time of Change unique is that it provides mobile case management. Persons who receive our services even after completion are always welcome to return for free to advance their healing.

In a disaster, traditional communications is one of the first services to be lost. The Los Angeles Emergency Communications Group supports several amateur radio groups that support various services in the Los Angeles area. Included are the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) that provides emergency communications for the 65+ hospitals with emergency departments, the LAFD Auxiliary Communications Service (LAFD ACS) that supports the City of Los Angeles, specifically the Los Angeles Fire Department, and the Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service (DCS) that supports the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. All these groups get little or no funding from their served agencies and rely mostly on member's equipment and donations.

This organization far exceeds my expectations. It has been a lifeline since 1990 when I became a member-- providing me valuable resources by phone and in newsletter form at a time before most medical doctors didn't understand the condition, testing was non-existent or limited and food labeling poor. I have attended several annual symposiums and the caliber of the event, the speakers, and the information is remarkable, plus we get to have safe gluten-free foods to explore- something that is both time consuming and expensive if I had to seek this information out on my own. Please consider supporting this gold-standard organization. <br>

I am a retired Administrator since 2010 and thanks to God Ive always been able to care for myself and have decent employment with pretty nice salaries. Unfortunately, since 2010 its been extremely rough for me financially and physically. I found myself in a predicament that was quite foreign to me -- one where Im barely able to pay my rent and buy groceries. Thank God Hinkle Foundation came to my rescue. My prayer is that an overflow of funds will be donated so others can benefit from this wonderful foundation. Its not like Im not looking for a job its just ageism plays a huge factor while looking for employment. I really miss managing offices and being an administrator. Once again, thank you Hinkle!!!!

Why is she even still on here? I run an actual rescue and had to rehab one of the horses seized from her in 2012. I'd be more than happy to share my pictures of the horrible condition the horse was in, as well as the pictures several months later when I had restored her to proper weight (it wasn't hard to do). <br><br>The executive director (apparently I'm not supposed to name her, but Google is your friend) is a danger to all animals and should never own a horse again.
