FCDI supports multiple youth robotics teams for students who may lack opportunities to learn and compete in these programs elsewhere. My child has benefitted immensely from the experience of becoming a team member due to the generosity of time and resources by Terri Willingham and her team at FCDI. My child has developed not only skills in robotics, but social skills, leadership skills, as well as mentorship and direction toward career goals in engineering. The FCDI programs model and place a high value on shared respect and responsibility among participants and mentors. We have been extremely fortunate to find and become involved with this organization. It has been life-changing for my child.

I am an activities Director at a senior living community. This was one of the best programs for kids & seniors.This program was very organized professional. I just want to think the junior chefs of America for memories that will last a lifetime.

From my first visit to Stageworks Theatre to becoming a volunteer and then joining the Board of Directors, I felt as though I would forever be involved with this Theatre. I have been impressed with the quality of the productions, the diversity in the subject matter presented and intriguing nature and execution of their mission. I believe Stageworks Theatre to be a meaningful part of the Arts community in Tampa Bay.

It has been such a blessing to serve with the WeSeeU family. This organization has a tremendous impact on our local community.

IAM Youth has created a safe and inclusive space for my daughter to grow and thrive. The organization's commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment for Muslim youth is truly commendable. From the engaging activities to the mentorship provided, IAM Youth has played a significant role in my daughter's personal and spiritual development. The staff and volunteers are caring, dedicated, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the youth. I am grateful to IAM Youth for providing a place where my daughter feels accepted, empowered, and connected to her Muslim identity.

Children With A Vision Inc. (CWV), is a beautiful organization that provides community services to children, the elderly, and their families. CWV offers hope and support to those in need, through their annual Scholarships, Back to School Backpack Giveaway, Trunk & Treat Halloween Event, Pre-Thanksgiving Blessing, and Grandmother Gala. In addition to providing supplies and free services from community partnerships, they provide free meals at each of the events. I am honored to work with CWV as a volunteer. As a volunteer for about five years, I have been able to see the good deeds this organization has provided to our community.

This organization cares about the well-being of kids! They have so many positive outlets to keep these youngsters busy and out of trouble! I love all they do!

WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION THAT GIIVES CHILDREN TO HAVE A SAFE FUN ENVIRONMENT TO LEARN DURING THE SUMMER AND AFTER SCHOOL. DIRECTORS ARE VERY INVOLVED AND THE PROGRAM IS A PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY.

I was a student in one of the SAT English classes. One of the students was playing a little joke and took another student's notebook and hid it. That student complained that his book was stolen by another student. Ms. Madhavi yelled at the class for over half an hour! What could have been addressed in just a few minutes, took up most of the class time- she kept yelling for 30-45 minutes! I would have rather listened to an SAT lecture and learn something useful than here her yell. <br> <br>She even yelled at the student whose book was taken and said to "Never use the word STEAL with Gurukulam." She said it would make it look bad if outside people heard that something was stolen at Gurukulam. She even repetitively kept asking the student "Now, was your books stolen? You're book was Not stolen, was it? It was just a misunderstanding. Don't go and say that your book was stolen." She would not let that poor student go until he agreed that his book was not stolen and that he wouldn't go out and say that. She in a sense "brain-washed" and "manipulated" and "coerced" him to not tell people that his book was stolen. <br> <br> After reading these comments, it makes sense. Kids say "so-and-so stole my book"- usually it is not a big deal. I was shocked that you was yelling so loudly at the class for using the word "steal" and used up nearly all our class time yelling at us for something as simple as that. It was scary. She is a scary person who I have never seen smile. <br> <br>I have also heard this: Since apparaently the Sekharams have not been paying taxes on this organization and are "STEALING" from the IRS and the Indian community and since Mr. Sekharam defrauded the American public with his elevation of his stocks, saying they were approved by FDA and "STOLE" from the American public who invested in his stock, perhaps he should get a lecture on "STEALING" LOL !! Haha! Now it all makes sense as to why Ms. Madhavi yelled simply cause another student used the word steal at the gurukulam which she ran. <br> <br>If it got around, once again, the public would not feel secure about the organization- very similarly to what Mr. Sekharam did with his stocks. (One of the students wrote a little essay on who he looks up to and what job he wanted and wrote about Mr. Sekharam and did research on why he wanted to be like him and go into research but when he researched, he found out that he was not impressed at all about the pharm/med/research run by Mr. Sekharam since he did not do it the right way yet they yell at the students for just using the word "steal". Ironic. yet now makes total sense. <br> <br>

Wounded Warriors Family Support challenges Girl Scout Councils, Troops, and Individual scouts to thank our nation's veterans through our Veteran Baskets program. The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida took this challenge and ran with it. They engaged many of their troops and also individual girls to deliver over 80 Veteran Baskets to veterans in their local VA and also to other locations in their area. A very impressive effort and we are very thankful for their support of the veterans in their area! Thank you!!!

Well, currently I live at CHN. I live in the older girls cottage. I just turned 17 and have lived here for about 10 months. I love it here, its not perfect but its home. They care for you and watch over you and they have a pool! When I arrived I was amazed at the pool, gym, and all the free space to explore, Its like the real world but contained just for kids. We have maternity, boys, girls and younger kids varying from 7 to 11.

I attempted to report a vehicle and person of interest in a homicide that the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office had posted on social media. I was looking directly at the suspect and vehicle and called Crime Stoppers and got no answer. I hung up and called 911, there was 9 police officers responded and took the person into custody, he has been arrested and charged with murder. Crime Stoppers refused to give me a reward because I didn't report it to them first. If they answered the phones you could.

In the journey to adopt teens, this Fabled story series was written. Seeing the impact it had on our 2 new ones and the encouragement from our GAL who believed in its power and supported it with a huge donation helped it become what it was meant to be. Our illustrator and editor poured their hearts into the effort and advocates use it with great effect in therapy sessions. Foster and adoptive families are bonding as they see each other in the characters in the book and relate to each other better. Going down their own rabbit trails ..memories from the past...the families can work through the trauma with the workbook pages.<br><br> Writing this series is a JOY! Memories from the past can cause pain that doesn't have to last. Typically the children are shy and don't want to talk to counselors. With this tool miracles are happening.<br><br>This book, one LMHC said, is the best tool I have used in 28 years. The children are talking and crying after just one chapter. It is used effectively as 'glue' where bonding is such a difficult thing to accomplish in a foster/adoptive family. The feelings that Freddy feels are much like all foster and adoptive children and teens. Fears, abandonment, rejection, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, etc can be helped with therapy...the problem is that children don't want to talk about the issues. <br><br>The way Elinor's foster family handles life in relationship and love sets an example for the readers. It is used as a 'window' into the lives of foster families and creates empathy, a 'door' to encourage readers to help foster families, a 'mirror' for foster and adoptive children and adults (yes adults too) to see how relationships can be trusted and Love can heal if allowed in. Every Amazon sale funds adoption needs. <br><br>A stuffed frog or puppet DIY project is in the works ...a frog to retell the story or one to adopt and squeeze as memories arise. Do not get connected with this fraudulent program. Send your kids to something with qualified coaches who aren't trying to take from parents.

We adopted in our state of Colorado in 2008. We had no idea about non-profit donors and so when we were preparing to adopt again in March of 2014, we began to research grants from non-profit organizations. We found Gift of Adoption, Inc, through our adoption agency, CCAI. From the very beginning they were professional, kind and helpful. We were SO grateful to receive help for our adoption and it was amazing to finally experience holding our baby boy in China. It's been 6 months and our lives are fuller and happier than we could have imagined. We have shared this organization with others and will continue to spread their mission and helpfulness.
