Programs: NAPLS is a consortium of eight clinical research centers based at Emory, Harvard, North Carolina, Toronto, UCLA, UCSD, Yale, and Zucker Hillside Hospital. Its purpose is to study people at risk for developing psychosis, as a means to improve the ability to predict who will convert to psychosis before they actually do, thus enabling effective preventive treatment. Its investigative techniques include brain imaging, genome sequencing, electrochemical tests and interviews.
