Bad bad bad people I stayed 17 years ago I had three children and was 8months pregnant terry verbally assaulted me accused me of smoking crack placed a crack pipe in my room accused me of stealing food Made me and my three small children go work in the back yard with a bunch of cats running around in wich me and my children were allergic to them wouldn’t allow me to use the phone keep food that’s meant for the residents she would sit literally in the trees and say she was watching over everyone I had to escape like a prisoner the only way I got out of there was making an excuse that I had. A welfare appointment terry should face criminal prosecution and should not be allowed to run this shelter !!!! Shame on riverside county with all the reports made and still soo glad for social media now I will be blasting this place all over social media I did not forget about this place pathetic she is

Very big disappointment… they say they want to find homes but yet discriminate when it comes to someone who wouldn’t only give a good home, but also would train the pup to be a service dog. Even provided with documents that were requested they made excuses of why the home wouldn’t qualify. Not only that… but a donation was made for the non profit only to be refunded for no reason. Never In my life have I ever heard of a non profit who would treat people this way. Not only that but have no idea how the ADA works whatsoever. Even noting that when trying to email or ask for a call to speak further they are now ignoring. The disappointment for my family to grow is beyond and upsetting because they discriminate against someone who will train a dog to be a service animal and a new family member. SHAME!

My family and I started fostering with Foster Army before the pandemic. It's been years, and we are still involved! We love the professionalism and support we receive from volunteers and staff. And of course watching the little ones blossom from sick and injured creatures to confident and loving fur babies makes it all worth it!

I have volunteered with Voices for Children Riverside for 5 years and have thoroughly appreciated their commitment to guiding CASA's to be the best advocate for our foster youth. Their level of expertise in navigating the court's system, social workers and connecting the kids to resources is top notch. My supervisor is a consistent guide to me as I walk alongside my assigned youth through their time in foster care.<br>With every case I am assigned I am always blown away at the resiliency, strength and joy of the youth as well as their families and support systems. It is truly a gift to me to be allowed the privilege to come along side kiddos in my community who find themselves in a difficult season.

I know Pastor Jack for my whole life from my teen years. As a teenager, I never expected my friend Jack to become a Pastor, especially a missionary Pastor so far away, but I realized that when GOD calls you, it is a very special calling, and what could be more important than helping others, especially children and bringing Jesus to them!! Pastor Jack and his family are working for the Lord in one of the poorest places in the world and not many people would dedicate their whole lives for a Mission From GOD, so The Father knows who to ask!! I support his mission whenever I can afford it because every little bit helps those who are in need.

We help feral cats & kittens by taming them, fixing medical problems, spay/ neuter, shots & finding them homes.

I was a client that lived at New Beginnings. I wasn't going to write anything but when I saw these horrable things that people wrote I could'nt not write anything. I lived at New Beginnings for two years and the staff and the director treated me like I was their family and yes when staff was not doing their job management did get on the staff because as she would often say "the clients there has been through enough and staff was not going to mistreat them on her watch." We got designer items and not no swapmeet stuff. We always had food and trash bags. They would take us out to eat, disneyland, knotts and other cool places. Never was I missed treated I loved this group home and if my daughter ever went into placement I would call them and ask them to take my daughter cause I know she would be treated right.

I was an Outreach for this rescue, when I found a stray cat sick. He had liver disease and was jaundice. <br>The rescue provided advice and guidance so that I could foster and get him well. He ended up not belonging to anyone and after the appropriate amount of time and notifying my local shelter and poster flyers, I adopted him. :) <br> <br>I was so grateful to Act 2 for their help. I am now a volunteer with the rescue.

I loved CSYA’s program. They provided amazing resources for helping you improve in computer science, no matter your level. Most importantly the people running it were extremely helpful, friendly and qualified. You could always reach out asking for help and someone could always help/give suggestions depending on what it was. Overall it was a very interactive, friendly and helpful experience. Will definitely be joining again!

This rescue organization is a joke!<br>You fill out an application and after 2 months there is no reply.<br>You call the listed number and always goes to voice mail. If you leave a message your call is never returned.<br>If you leave an email on their website, there is no correspondence returned.

Great group that puts on a great annual ent in Riverside. The event honors 3 local veterans and raises money to help homeless veterans.

How can you have the audacity to ask for money especially when you are slumlords. I've had two floods ( one on 8/8 and another on 9/30) from backed up sewer water which overflowed from my shower that overflowed for over 8 hours the first time and over 12 hours the second time and no damage was done? No cleanup was performed and my bathroom sink still doesn't work and this is now February.

I have been on five trips with POWER Ministries. They travel along the Texas/Mexico border and serve by feeding the hungry, building houses, churches, school buildings, etc. They are an awesome organization who's goal is simple, "Share the love of God". It's pretty exciting when a group of 45-60 men can coexist, lift each other up and work together to further God's Kingdom. You don't need prior construction experience!

So many things this ministry does! I am so thankful they exist as I have joined in some of their pro life activities (never heard of them being in KS - maybe that was a long time ago?) in Riverside. They are a blessing for children and (especially) moms & babies alike. I've even taken my kids to a few activities. For those looking for a worthy cause this is the place. Thank you Turn the Hearts!

I found Taking It To The Streets With Lori And Shira, Riverside CA, purely by accident on Facebook several years ago. Lori Rich, almost daily, journeys around to the appropriate areas to check on, feed, clothe, provide spay/neuter and vaccinations for the pets of the homeless. She reports daily on where she goes, who she sees and what she does for them. She networks endlessly to gain the support of large and small corporations, municipal shelters and Veterinary Service providers. I live 3,000 miles away and there is no one who does this here. I foster animals that are brought from CA to be homed here in New England, and I will always donate to reduce the number of dogs and cats who are living in misery and often euthanized--just because they were born. Highly recommend a donation this terrific non-profit who literally saves thousands of lives.

I have been serving with R2R for several years as a volunteer and have been priveledged to work with several clients. R2R provides 48 hours if intense training to equip the volunteers to work with the girls. I love the passion, heart and vision the Leadership has, that is passed on to all who are involved with R2R. It is tremendously rewarding to work with an organization that has such an impact on these precious lives.

I'm really impressed that Assistance League of Riverside won the Inland Empire Press Enterprise Best Non-Profit award for 2021! They have continued to evolve and adapt their programs during the Covid pandemic, and have also continued to grow their membership. I think it is because they reach people in so many different ways. Their Thrift Shop is fantastic, and a real service to the community! People can donate their good quality usuable items to the shop rather than put them in a landfill, and others can find great bargains and even brand new items at a very discounted price. The shop is clean, organized, and efficiently run by 100% volunteers, and they generate around $350,000 a year, all of which goes to help local children and teens. They have 6 different programs that either clothe, comfort or educate local children, and volunteers can choose what program they want to work on. They also have community sponsors and donors, and apply for grants, making their budget almost $700,000. 74% of each dollar goes back to helping children from 13 different school districts, and they have received a platinum Guidestar rating, the highest possible. Assistance League of Riverside is celebrating their 55th anniversary this year. They are a rock solid organization, and have even started a brand new branch in the Corona-Norco area this year. I highly recommend this organization for your consideration.

I have been impressed with Karolyn’s commitment to all wildlife. People in this area have very limited access for help with found sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife. Karolyn appreciates the finder’s concern and will accept the animal, even if it is a pigeon or rat. Many rehabbers will not take in these animals because they are not considered indigenous. The public does not understand why a distressed wild creature they have found and made the effort to get it help, is not accepted for rehabilitation. By accepting the animal, Karolyn is reinforcing the principle of caring for all wild creatures and bringing a new appreciation and commitment by the public to protect our wildlife. Karolyn has developed many contacts for out sourcing some of her patients to specialized species specific rehabbers. This increases their survival rates. Karolyn spent many hours training and developing a relationship with our local animal control shelters. Before Karolyn, wildlife that was picked up was euthanized. Now with the education that Karolyn has provided animal control, most wildlife is taken to rehabilitation and/or released. With Karolyn’s training, the animal control officers feel confident in handling wildlife and have a deeper connection with them. This relationship with animal control has been a huge success in increasing the survival rate of distressed wildlife. Karolyn is very competent with the needed treatment of many types of wildlife. She has a high rate of success and release of her patients. I hope that you will give high recognition to Karolyn’s Sunshine Haven Rehabilitation for her dedication to our wildlife.

Purposely Chosen is a teen parenting ministry that has been around for well over 10 years. I was fortunately to have been around when it was first conceived in the mind and heart of our Pastors ( Dretona Maddox). Over the years I have seen their hard work and commitment shine in the lives of multiples teenage moms and their babies. <br>It has definitely changed the lives of many, especially the babies born and NOT aborted.....<br>Pro-Life <br>Rosita Robinson

my son keeps running away from home he when to operation safe house and c.p.s. was called out to my house c.p.s talk to me and my wife we let her know my son have not been in are home for about two months and he had got in trouble at school in December the school let my son know a phone call to mom and dad was coming he said you can not call home because I'm child abuse so the school called the police and c.p.s IT WAS NO CHILD ABUSE IN MY HOME c.p.s let me and my wife pick him up now he yelling abuse agin and the staff at the safe house called c.p.s and agin IT NO CHILD ABUSE GOING ON C.P.S CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW I NEED TO PICK UP MY SON I GET TO THE SAFE HOUSE THE STAFF DO NOT LET ME IN SHE COME OUT A HOUR LATER AND LET ME KNOW SHE DO NOT FEEL SAFE WITH MY KID GOING HOME WITH ME SHE TALK TO C.P.S. AND AND C.P.S SAID IT WAS OK FOR HIM TO GO HOME IT WAS NO ABUSE THE SAFE HOME CALLED THE POLICE ON ME JUST SO THEY CAN GET THE MONEY FOR HOUSING HIM FOR 21 DAYS SOMETHING HAS DO BE DONE ABOUT THIS

My wife and I were looking to get advance golf training for our daughter.It took us months to find someone .We were referred by a friend of a friend to Coach Greg.He is one phenomenal person and takes time to teach kids of all ages. It is very wonderful to see all the kids having fun and learning .My daughter has been training with Coach G for about 2 month and there has been a big improvement on her golf swing.

When my daughter was an infant and barely walking, rarely talking, and her her pediatrician, a neurologist and the state department of developmental services didn't catch that she had autism and cerebral palsy, this organization did. That was 22 years ago. They took her in and gave her a scholarship to receive speech and intensive early education services and then they took on the local dept for developmental services to give them the assessments that they missed so that she could receive services. <br>When she was a teenager and didn't have friends, they allowed me to start a group called Capable Girls to help her and others girls like her who were lonely. And she made friends. They never made a dime on it. <br>When there was an toddler murdered in the City of Riverside in 2009 by his mother and they learned that there were no services anywhere in the counties of Riverside or San Bernardino Counties to serve this population, they stepped up and started the Inland Empire Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative - even they had no start up money to do it. <br>They continue to do the day in day out treatment services that they are paid to do, but then the do so much more. Such as operating their own food pantry so that no one goes hungry and providing clothing, toys, bus passes, etc. They never make their clients feel "less than" and they are always willing to step up and serve the under-served population that may be ignored by grant funders.

DLC took our rescue dog with major behavioral problems and turned him into loving pack member. Rick has amazing ability to read and respond to dog's body language. DLC is worthy of your full support.

I am a proud foster mom to kittens for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I have done fostering for years, I have been to other places to foster but none have been as wonderful as MSRPAC. The Staff has always been so easy to talk to or ask questions, especially adoption coordinator Aundria. Not just the staff is awesome but they truly help out with fostering needs to help me do a better job. Food, litter, and formula are all readily available in the pantry so that I don't have to use my own money. They make fostering easy and convenient. And to know that the cute kittens I bottle fed and then weaned for 8 weeks went to a great place afterwards makes it so much easier to let them go. A great place!
