I adopted my little girl Mabel from FurEver Fosters back in 2014. She was a dog who was abandoned in a house when her family moved and decided not to take her with. She was scared and malnourished. When I first seen her on their Facebook page I fell in love. I waited the 3 months for the organization to get her completely healthy, spayed and vaccinated. Then came the day for adoption. Everything was great for a year, but when Mabel became comfortable in her surroundings she began showing signs of separation anxiety. Perfectly normal for a dog that was abandoned. But things were getting out of hand. I called Clare who is the leader of FurEver Fosters and explained the situation. She immediately jumped into action, got us in with a trainer and even paid for her first 6 sessions. Last week we discovered that Mabel has a cancerous growth. My husband is currently laid off and our financial situation has drastically changed with having two children. Once again, I called Clare and she immediately got her into her vet and had the cancer removed and biopsied. We received the results today that it was indeed cancer, but it was “encapsulated” and they had been able to get all of the cancer. <br><br>I cannot say enough great things about this organization. They go above and beyond the call of rescue work because Clare truly loves these animals with all her heart. Now I know why they are called FurEver Fosters, they are FurEver HER Fosters and part of the family for life!
