Mission: The mission of KDVA is to end intimate partner violence, promote healthy relationships and engage communities through social change, economic empowerment, educational opportunities and other prevention strategies.
Programs: Health and family services provides services to individuals who are victims of domestic violence through sub-contracts with the primary service providers of each area development district.
economic justice program serves transitional students (welfare recipients) in kentucky's community college system.
family prevention and services act works with local domestic violence programs and provides direct services to encourage appropriate response to domestic violence within the state, increases public awareness of domestic violence, addresses issues with judicial and law enforcement agencies concerning appropriate responses to domestic violence cases, and furthers domestic violence intervention and prevention.
