My husband is a disabled veteran who was discriminated against by this non-profit. They provided service dogs to disabled veterans and like to say they help provide them with basic good behavior training while the veteran is responsible for all service task and all other training. While my husband was there last week the co-founder (Scott) approached my husband and told him to take off his dogs vest. My husband who has a disability for his back explained to him he was unable to bend down to do that. Scott then took the vest off my husbands service dog and shoved it into my husbands chest. That caused a dispute between him and my husband. Scott kept getting in my husbands face making my husband raise his voice at Scott to “back the F*** off ”When my husband tried to walk away Scott continued to yell at my husband and then told him he needs to leave the dog and he was kicked out of the program. I took our dog to the car while this was happening. Scott continued to argue with my husband and when my husband attempted to explain his disabilities to Scott and Scott responded with “Enough with the F***ing Violin playing”. Then when I went in to get my husband I also confronted Scott explaining that he was discriminatory towards my husband based on his disability and trying to take his service dog (that my husband has trained) simply because of my husbands disability and that he didn’t like him to which Scott replied “yes because I run this place and no one disrespects me”
