Not only is The COC (Christians Overcoming Cancer) a viable solution for those in need, but also the experience of volunteering is uplifting as well.<br><br>Being able to donate my time, energy and money, to an organization that is committed toward responding to cancer patients needs with the appropriate local referrals, offer trained mental/spiritual support, and then meet needs with finances. By definition, these are acts of love where we decided to fit ourselves to together and add strength one to an another, for each other’s benefit.<br><br>It is part of the foundational principles and best practices that will have the most ‘traction as we move forward."<br><br>??????????????????

Pretty much some sort of Scammer disguised as a Non Profit. 1st off the call comes up Unknown caller they have been flagged by Robocall services. People do not like Robo Calls. blocked their number but I am sure they will continue to call. Would give them a Zero out of 5 stars.

My husband and I were truly grateful to find a camp offering children an opportunity to build on their math skills as well as introducing children to the "financial world" of life. The Financial Life Skills camp was offered for a week from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and our son truly enjoyed himself. He was given a pre-test the first day. At times he struggled due to his age and the advanced information presented, however, he is now aware of cash flow management, financial statement analysis, and wealth accumulation. He had an opportunity to analyze a real world family case study and suggest how the family should manage their money. In addition, he learned economic and financial terms that will be beneficial in developing a responsible mindset about money before he becomes an adult. They had meaningful field trips, as well as, a trip to Bon-Vie so they could apply the etiquette skills when eating, discussed in a previous session. What really stands out to me is not Mr. Funderburke's celebrity status, but this husband and wife "duo" implementing a program that supports what we are trying to instill at home and doing it together. I have always wished that celebrities see the value in providing kids an opportunity to have something tangible rather than being praised for sending them to a sports camp or giving them material things. When you provide children with life long lessons then they are able to do for themselves and make a difference. With this being said, the information presented was so valuable, that our son will participate again next summer. The Hurst Family
