A wonderful place to volunteer. All the employees are so caring about not only the clients, but the volunteers. I really feel like a make a difference (even a little one) in the community working with NOA. The employees go out of their way to make the volunteers feel important and to make sure you truly like what you are doing in the organization - a very important component to a volunteer.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
raising money and prejudices against domestic violence and abused women.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I'm completely blown away with how much NOA can accomplish with what little money they have. Everyone in NOA wears as many hats as possible and no job is "beneath" them. They will do anything they can to help victims of domestic violence.
