Youth Journalism International
September 6, 2010

I've been a student in YJI for about a year. I got to do a lot of cool things like go to the first live theater performance I've ever been to, write about a hearing at the state capitol and other events. I've made good friends of many ages, including some from my age group and some older people who have been in YJI for a long time.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I've learned about writing journalism and some grammar.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would make sure they had more funding.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Going to fun events, like the theater and parties where Youth Journalism members from all around the world came and got to meet the local members.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

They were really nice and supportive and I learned a lot from them.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It could bring all the kids from all over the world together and reach out to kids in different counties.

Ways to make it better...

I don't know how it could have been better! I was in it since 7th grade and I wrote a lot and it was really fun!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Having enough funding to do events and help kids.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Youth Journalism is a Grat organisation that brings together kids from all over the world. I learned a lot about writing and made some good friends!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
