I was a volunteer in the first art camp in Ghana back in August 2007. I taught grades 1-3 in art. I had an incredible time. I loved getting to know the other teachers who traveled with me and I loved the children at the Village of Hope. The Children's Art Village did a very good job at organizing the trip as well as the summer camp. The children are beautiful and so ready to learn and create. I cherish my time spent as as volunteer at that art camp.
