COMMITTEE FOR A CONSTRUCTIVE TOMORROW
October 3, 2009

CFACT is a very sound user of donor funds. It operates on low overhead and puts it the bulk of its funds directly into programming. They have developed a unique niche understanding about the interrelationship between the marketplace and the environment. Their output is credible, well thought out and highly useful to the public.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Development work in Valla Verde Mexico. Empowerment of students. Participation as a registered UN NGO. Sponsor of solid scientific conferences. Creators of a widely heard radio program since 1993. Novel solutions to societal problems.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Put more effort into publicizing my good work.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Other organizations rise and fall, this one grows steadily and solidly. Reliability is a pleasure.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Professional, dedicated, bright, but carrying a large work burden.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand activities to additional continents. Bring more direct and creative relief to citizens of developing countries. Publish further research and studies on issues of engergy, environment and development.

Ways to make it better...

This organization was better known and supported among appropriate funders.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Increasing funding to match its increased role.

One thing I'd also say is that...

CFACT is the best little think thank you've never heard of. It is finally arriving on stage and deserves support to continue its good work.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
