Down Syndrome Network

DSNetwork is a great organization. They are able to support not only families with individuals with Down syndrome, but they provide information and programs to the community to better understand what Down syndrome is.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My oldest son has Down syndrome (DS). When we moved to Arizona, we were unsure as to what type of services were available. I was able to join the DSNetworkAZ Yahoo Forum which allowed for me to ask other families with individuals with DS for guidance and information as they pertained to pediatricians, dentists, therapists, schools, and all the other services that go hand-in-hand with having a child with different abilities.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

DSNetwork relies on the generosity of those in the community in order to fund the various programs they offer. Please consider a donation of time or financial support to help DSNetwork to accomplishing their mission to educate, support, and advocate for those in the community whose lives are impacted by Down syndrome.

MY ROLE:
Volunteer & As a mother of a child with Down syndrome, I see the importance of who DSNetwork is and the programs they provide. It is because of this, that I choose to volunteer for DSNetwork wherever I can; I do community relations and help organize fundraisers.
