Prostate Cancer International
July 21, 2012

I have been treated for Prostate Cancer, and have a family history of Prostate Cancer. I am also a physician and surgeon. I think that this website is the most thorough, impartial way to stay up to date with the latest news and reports of medical information with regard to Prostate Cancer, whether you are a medical doctor or a layman, a patient or a family member, or just interested in the subject. There is always a space for commentary, with a well-reasoned response from the "site-master" after each discussion. I recommend it with the highest possible praise.

This is an incredibly valuable website for the latest information about all aspects of prostate cancer-from controversies about screening or active surveillance, to the lastest information about surgical and radiation treatment, side effects of those treatments and also treatment of recurrent or distant disease. There is expert review of recent research, put into easily understood words for non medical personel. "Sitemaster" does and excellent job responding to comments as well. As both a physician (general surgeon) and prostate cancer patient myself, I am very grateful that it exists and have found little else online that compares as favorably.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

just expanding my personal knowledge of the subject of prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, and my awareness of the latest research in a concise and easily readable format.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

nothing, except to be able to adjust the number of emails I receive, according to my own particular interest (it covers a vast area of medical information).

MY ROLE:
General Member of the Public & I use this website as a personal source of medical information, and have recommended it to others who are interested in its subject matter.
