Star of Hope Mission
April 28, 2011
My husband and I have been donors to Star of Hope for many years. We have participated as often as we can at SOH activities, and have been honored to attend the Christmas tree lighting at the Women and Children's Center, the Christmas Eve commencement at the Men's Development Center and the Annual Star of Hope Banquet. Our sons have also attended these events with us, and have been blessed to witness the moving testimonies of the SOH residents. Hearing the residents describe their journey to SOH, what SOH means to them and how SOH has brought about change for them and their families is a testament to the love and healing power of Jesus Christ.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
hearing the residents describe what SOH has meant to them and seeing the smiles of the children.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I'm not sure; I've not been able to volunteer my services, so I'm not sure what changes might be helpful.
Donor & We try to invite different people to the Banquet each year in hopes of introducing more folks to SOH; and I co-hosted a table at our annual women's luncheon, and the theme of our table was Star of Hope.
