I had Bubbles The Clown entertain at my daughter's 4th birthday party a few month's ago. I heard that he was doing a financial literacy program for kids. So, I went to Port Discovery Children's Museum for their Countdown to Kindergarten day. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of children and parents who attended the "Financial Fitness for Kids" workshop that I went to. The subject matter and the way that Bubbles presented the information about saving money was informative and the kids enjoyed it.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I experienced the results by seeing how much my daughter and the other kids genuinely enjoyed the program and learned about basic financial facts. This incident really hit home -- I took my daughter shopping, and she told me that she did not want to buy candy, that she wanted to save her money to adopt a bunny rabbit. (Bubbles The Clown had the children help him magically produce a rabbit during the show).
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The show did exceed my expectations. It confirmed that I made the right decision to support this organization financially. I would encourage others to do the same.
