Family Unification Support Services, Inc.
April 28, 2011
I have been working with children and their families for the past 10 years. I first learned about Family Unification in late 2010. I have made referrals to Family Unification for mentors for some of the children I work with. Linda takes the time to meet the child and get to know them in order for a good match to take place. This shows how genuinely caring she is and that she has the child's best interest at heart. The relationships that foster children have are very important and they can use all the support they can get, especially in times when they are separated from their families. The relationships that these children form with mentors are much more meaningful than the ones they have with us "professionals," and they feel much more comfortable in being able to communicate with them.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
communication with Linda and having a mentor matched to one of my kids.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
increase its growth as it plays an important role in the lives of our youth.
Professional with expertise in this field & I referred a teenager for a mentor.
