We are so fortunate to have an organization like Little Helping Hands. When my daughter was 8, I began looking for volunteer opportunities for our family. It was difficult as most agencies want the children to be at least 10 years of age. That is when a friend told me about Little Helping Hands and we have been hooked ever since. Marissa Vogl has created a well organized community service for Austin families. Her staff is wonderful and we have met so many nice families. The only downfall each month is there are more volunteers for the opportunities offered. But that is also says a lot for our community as we all want to be involved and create learning opportunities for our children. My daughter is going on her second year volunteering and she loves it!! Thanks Little Helping Hands!

MY ROLE:
Volunteer

I was looking for volunteer opportunities for my 9 year old daughter, but they were scarce. Most places like them to be at least 12. A friend told me about Little Helping Hands and I was thrilled! Our family has competed 5 events and they are all so different. It is great to be able to schedule one or two volunteer opportunities a month for our family and know we are doing a small part in helping the community! I can not say enough positive stuff about Little Helping Hands, only to keep adding more and more community events!.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The capital food bank, Elderhaven Adult Daycare center and one more I can not think of the name.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
nothing! It is run efficiently and well organized.
